What are the blessings of being an active member in the local church? Contrary to popular belief and the devil's lies: the blessing of church membership far outweighs the burden.

Join us tomorrow morning at Porum FBC as we explore the blessings of membership! We'd love for you to worship with us!

Here are a few thoughts from the opening message in our new sermon series: "I Am a Church Member." Healthy church membership is expected of every born again believer and follower of Jesus. May these truths guide us to becoming a healthy, functioning member of the body!

08/14/2026

One of the best ways to know what healthy church membership looks like is by examining what unhealthy church membership looks like. This Sunday we examine one of the most unhealthy (some would even say toxic) church members mentioned in the Bible, and we would love for you to join us!
