Ruth 1:16 For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you lodge: I will lodge; your people shall be my people. And your God, my God.
This verse is a great example of family sticking together. Naomi is Ruth's mother-in-law but they are still family before, during and after the storm.
The Book of Ruth is a 20 minute read. They are related to our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ; when you look at the genealogy in the Book of Matthew chapter 1.
For a better understanding of the times; please read Deuteronomy 25:5-10 and Leviticus 25:23-28.
Genealogy use to be pass down from generation to generation as the elders would gather around and tell stories. This is a dying art now.
