Long Post Alert ‼️
“The love of many will wax cold.”
I recently experienced something difficult, someone I considered family chose to disconnect from me without warning or explanation. Moments like this can be hard to process, especially when you’ve done your best to do right by others. It reminds me that even when you dot every “i” and cross every “t,” people may still find fault.
I’ve taken this to prayer and reflection, and I’m mindful of the times we’re living in. Scripture speaks of perilous days, where love grows cold, where passion, commitment, and genuine care begin to fade. We are seeing these signs more and more, and we shouldn’t ignore them.
But even in the midst of this, we must guard our hearts. Let’s not allow situations or disappointments to redefine how we love. Instead, let’s commit to regular heart checks, staying rooted in compassion and grace.
As a reminder: “This is how we know we are His disciples—by how we love one another.”
Let’s keep loving, no matter what.
