As we begin the 25th Anniversary celebration of the installation of our Orgues Létourneau 3-manual pipe organ with a recital from renowned organist Nicole Keller this weekend, we thought it was a good time to shine a light on all our fabulous instruments!

On Sunday, May 10, St. John’s will welcome The Reverend Ed Cardoza, Priest-in-Charge of Grace Church Manchester, as the next guest preacher in our Voices of Faith series.

A priest, community leader, and longtime advocate in global health and justice ministries, Ed brings a faith shaped by contemplation, compassion, and engagement with the world.

In a sermon titled “From Infections to Earthquake: A Journey to Theosis,” Ed will explore a compelling question: What does love ask of us in a fractured world? Tracing a surprising path through faith, human solidarity, and lived experience, he will invite us into a vision of God’s love that moves us beyond ourselves and toward one another — with a story of crisis and hope you won’t want to miss.

This Saturday, April 11 at 4PM, join us for Roots to Sky, a beautiful and vibrant collaboration between Moira Smiley () and the Rasa String Quartet (). Oh, and did we mention there will be a special appearance by our friends from Seacoast Q***r Choir? ()

Admission by suggested donation, tickets available at the link in our bio, or at the door - come one, come all!

The program, rooted in themes of connection both invisible and hidden, will explore the ways we remain intertwined, much like those rhizome networks that nourish life from beneath the surface.

With the velvet ferocity of voices and strings, Roots to Sky unearths very old folk songs and harnesses their power to remind us of our shared connectivity, and our ability to defy devisiveness.

Won’t you join us?

The three Glorias span a period of just 25 years around 1500, a time when polyphony reached its full flowering by Franco-Flemish composers.
