350 people filled First Parish UU Portland last night for “Love is the Point,” a prayerful, multifaith gathering where music and blessings affirmed the communities targeted for hate by White Christian Nationalists, including Turning Point USA (a group that held a sparsely attended rally at the same time a few blocks away).

As “Love is the Point” ended, the audience poured out onto Congress Street, holding candles and singing.
