Querida familia y amigos de Esperanza Church

Este miércoles 4, a las 5pm, nos reuniremos con:
El pastor Matt Toupin, ministro ejecutivo adjunto
Iglesias Bautistas Americanas de la Costa del Centro del Pacífico

El pastor Matt con la ayuda de David Méndez, quien ha ofrecido predicar durante los servicios en nuestra iglesia por los siguientes varios meses, quisieran reunirse este miércoles a las 5 p.m. en el sótano de la iglesia. Habrá pizza, ensalada y bebidas.

El primer domingo, después de la comida, hablamos sobre cómo vamos a seguir hacia adelante como iglesia durante y después de esta transición. Seguiremos esta discusión el miércoles a las 5pm. También hablaremos de oportunidades de voluntariado en las que quizá deseen participar.

Habrá tiempo para compartir ideas y preguntas; aunque puede que no tengamos las respuestas por favor pregunten de todos modos.

Que nuestro Padre Celestial llene nuestros corazones con gozo y paz, no con temor. Que nuestra senda sea clara mientras seguimos hacia adelante al futuro que Dios tiene planeado para nosotros aquí en Esperanza Church.

Salmos 32:8
Yo te haré saber y te guiaré por el camino que debes andar, te aconsejaré y cuidaré siempre de ti.

Dear family and friends of Esperanza Church
This Wednesday the 4th at 5pm we will meet with:
Pastor Matt Toupin
Associate Executive Minister
American Baptist Churches of the Central Pacific Coast

He with the help of Pastor David Mendez, who has offered to preach during our services at our church for the next few months, would like to meet this Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the church in the basement. Pizza, salad and beverages will be provided.
Sunday the 1st after a meal we discussed how we will proceed as a church during and after this transition. We will continue this discussion this Wednesday at 5pm. We will also look at volunteer opportunities that you may wish to help with.
There will be time for idea sharing as well as questions we may not be prepared to answer but please ask anyway.
May our Heavenly Father fill our hearts with joy and peace not fear. May our path be made clear as we move forward looking at the future God has planned for us here at Esperanza Church.

Psalms 32:8

Gracias a Dios la colecta de fondos para el proyecto de misiones de los niños ¡juntó $578 dólares para los proyectos de agua limpia y gallinas! (vean la foto) Muchas gracias a todos los que dieron con tanta generosidad. «» Thanks to the Lord the children's mission fundraiser for the projects of clean water and chickens gathered $578 dollars! El culto unido con Woodland Park Baptist Church a las 11am el domingo pasado, 2 de enero, estuvo a todo dar. Fue de inspiración tener las dos congregaciones juntas para empezar el año y hubo abundancia de comida para el convivio después del culto. Muchas gracias a todos ustedes de Esperanza Church quienes estuvieron presentes ya que tuvimos buena representación de nuestra iglesia (quizás la mejor asistencia desde que empezamos a reunirnos después de la clausura de varios meses por Covid) y con nosotros y ellos se sentía que el santuario, ¡sí, tenía gente! Siempre preparo y presento el mensaje como si el santuario fuera a estar lleno sin importar cuantos estemos pero no niego que se sintió bien sentir el calor humano de un santuario con buena asistencia. ¡Sigamos asistiendo sin faltar cada domingo a las 4pm para alabar a Dios, orar y escuchar su palabra!

The joint worship service with Woodland Park Baptist Church at 11am last Sunday, January 2, was awesome. It was inspiring to have the two congregations together to start off the year and there was plenty of food for the post-service gathering. Thank you very much to all of you from Esperanza Church who were present as we had a good representation from our church (perhaps the best attendance since we began to meet after the Covid closure of several months) and with us and them it felt like somebody was in the sanctuary! I always prepare and present the message as if the sanctuary will be full no matter how many of us there may be, but I don't deny that it felt good to feel the human warmth of a well-attended sanctuary. Let’s continue attending every Sunday at 4pm to praise God, pray and hear his word!
