When you look at our youth today, you wouldn’t think that just a few years ago, our youth gatherings consisted of the rehab center and 15 youth max. After a service you would come up to the person you normally would say hows life, the usual, and be on your way. When you leave a service now, you’re trying to not forget the names of all the new faces you just met. God has made a long awaited movemen
t in our youth. He is bringing more and more souls to salvation. Praise the Lord! Our youth started out with just a few people but they all had one thing in common and that was a great desire to do Gods will! Though it might have been discouraging at times to see the empty pews, thinking has the young generation really lost all desire to seek the face of God…. But that didn’t stop this youth from gathering and seeking the Lord. Today we see the outcome of all the earnest prayers and effort. Today our youth is growing and more and more young people come here to hear Gods word and get ignited to do Gods will! The unity and happiness that the brothers and sisters in this youth have, encourages other youth to strive for God. Showing them that there’s more to life and that they can also restore what was once broken in their relationship with God. Thus giving them hope to move forward and igniting the hearts around them whether it be in school, their workplace or wherever they might be, always being the light. After all that is what Jesus commanded us to do, go and teach all nations…..starting with us.
