Join us in service at the Nichiren Buddhist Temple of Portland Oregon. All forms of Buddhism and all religions are invited to participate and ask questions. Sunday service is at 10 am and followed by social hour which includes tea and food.

Please join us for Hana-Matsuri Service this Sunday, April 7 at 2pm. We will be celebrating the birth of Sakyamuni Buddha. It is celebrated on April 8th in Japan. It is passed down to us that Maya gave birth to Sakyamuni in Lumbini Garden. We often celebrate his birthday by decorating the newborn Sakyamuni in an abundance of spring flowers.
