Tribute to the Late Respected Adventist Elder Obbo Leta Bedasso
From Oromo-Ethiopia SDA Church of Portland.
With deep sorrow, love, and Christian hope, we remember the life and legacy of our beloved Elder Obbo Leta Bedasso.
Elder Leta Bedasso will always be remembered as a faithful servant of God, a spiritual leader, and a respected human rights advocate. He stood as a symbol of faith, unity, humility, and dedication to Christ. Through his life of prayer, worship, and service, he became a source of encouragement and hope for many believers.
Elder Leta represented people coming together in unity to worship God, strengthen one another, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. His words, prayers, and faithful example touched many hearts and inspired countless lives to remain steadfast in faith.
He was a light to those facing struggles, offering comfort, love, wisdom, and guidance through the promises of God. He continually reminded believers to stay faithful, humble, prayerful, and committed to serving both God and humanity.
The mission and example of Elder Leta Bedasso were not only to gather people for worship, but also to spread the Gospel, bring peace to troubled hearts, and inspire lives to walk in righteousness. Through his faithful ministry, God’s presence was honored and uplifted among His people.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we hold firmly to the blessed hope of Christ’s soon return. On that glorious morning, we believe we shall see Elder Leta again in the kingdom of God.
During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his entire family, friends, and all beloved members of the Ethiopian SDA Church community. May God comfort your hearts, strengthen your faith, and grant you His perfect peace.
You are greatly loved and deeply missed, Elder Leta Bedasso.
May you rest in the hope of the resurrection until we meet again.
