Don't miss the METBA Halloween, Trick or Treating 10:30am - 4:00pm
A fun-filled neighborhood event!: MUMC will participate in METBA's Happy Halloween Trick-or-Treat Montavilla. Beginning at 10:30 AM costumed volunteers will greet and give away candy. There will also be an opportunity to light a candle for a beloved family member or pet since Halloween is All Saints Eve.

Job Opening for the position of Office Manager at Montavilla United
Methodist Church 232 SE 80 th Ave. Portland, OR 97215 (503) 254-5529.
Who We Are: Montavilla United Methodist Church is a Christian congregation who is Open and Affirming of LGBTQ+ persons. Members of this community include people of various ethnic groups, income levels, levels of ability, religious backgrounds, sexual orientations and gender identities. We value community engagement and compassionate service.
Who You Are: A Friendly, Responsible, Self-Motivated person with a high level of office skills, including but not limited to: knowledge of computer and several various software programs; have the ability to do the work in a timely and logical manner and meet deadlines as required. You are well organized and able to prioritize your time. You are compassionate towards the poor and want to use your skills to make a difference.
Salary: $20.00 an hour for 20 to 25 hours a week.
Flex time with 2 days in the building, with a preference for Sunday being one of the
days. The rest of the hours can be off-site.
Skills: Working with staff and renters in the building
Keeping up with telephone messages
People skills, those in the building and those around the church.
Keeping rooms rented as much as possible.
Duties: Administrative/clerical
Pastoral Support
Bookkeeping
Working with Facilities Manager on building use and maintenance issues
Ministry Leadership
Other duties as needed
