After four grace-filled days at the Quo Vadis Retreat, our time together has come to a close. Our seminarians joyfully accompanied the children as they came to know Jesus more deeply, grow closer to Him, and discover the loving plan He has for their lives. We were also blessed to serve nourishing meals for everyone throughout the retreat.
The mission of the Quo Vadis Retreat is to help young people listen for God’s voice, deepen their relationship with Christ, and courageously discern the unique vocation to which He is calling them. Quo vadis?—“Where are you going?”—invites each participant to reflect on where the Lord is leading them and to respond generously to His call.
Let us continue to pray that our 33 young retreatants heard God’s invitation and discover what He desires for their lives.
We are especially grateful for the presence of our seminarians; our priests from our Archdiocese of Portland—Fr. Matt Libra, Fr. Justin Echeverria, Fr. Tristan Schubert, Fr. Zack Muñoz, Fr. Brent Durschmidt, and Fr. Randy Hoang; especially our Vocation Director, Fr. Peter Julia; and Archbishop Alexander Sample. They generously guided the children spiritually, shared their faith and personal stories, spoke about their own vocation journeys and most specially their love for God!
Mother of all vocations… pray for all of our retreatants our seminarians and all our priests.
