The Alliance Northwest is an extended family of leaders and churches across Oregon, Washington, Alaska and a part of Idaho. As family we are united by our mission to courageously follow Jesus in the world. Our vision is to become a Spirit-led movement of more than 150 churches making significant global impact by the year 2025.

Across our district and around the world, we celebrate the hope, victory, and new life found in Jesus. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us today, renewing hearts, restoring communities, and drawing all people to Him.

Baba & Deb Jones are celebrating a season of growth—both in the church family and their own—with the joyful arrival of baby Vanessa!

There’s also growing excitement as plans take shape for outreach to Native villages across the Bristol Bay region. God is clearly on the move, and we can’t wait to see how He continues to touch lives.

Symposium was a gift.

Leaders from across Alliance Northwest gathered to learn, pray, and lean into what God is doing in and through our churches.

The Innovative Holistic Mission Symposium is a 2½-day experience equipping leaders to design and launch innovative, Gospel-centered initiatives in their communities — helping churches discern local needs and respond with creativity and wisdom.

We’re grateful for the conversations, encouragement, and shared vision for what’s ahead. Thank you to every pastor, leader, and volunteer who made the time to be there. We are better together — and expectant for what God will continue to do across our district.

As part of Vision Alaska, we have been working on building a leadership development process. Northbound is a one-to-two-year leadership formation pathway crafted for those who sense God’s call but never saw themselves in a pulpit. It’s for those who lead from fishing boats, village roads, school gyms, community tables, and fire-lit homes.

Our vision is to raise up Spirit-empowered leaders from Alaska, for Alaska- leaders who know the land, love the people, and carry the presence of Christ into places most people will never go.

Kodiak Bible Chapel in Alaska recently welcomed 29 adults to a newcomer’s orientation, with 17 taking the step into covenanted membership—including two who are now serving faithfully on the Filipino worship team. We’re also celebrating John Mark, a high school junior who trusted Christ and took the joyful step of baptism on February 1st. We’re grateful to celebrate the ways God is at work, drawing people to Himself and building His church!
