We weren't sure if it would happen so I was waiting to post this info, but looks like the weather will be in our favor. Yay!
Everyone should already have the waiver for Immaculate Conception. PLEASE bring them to religion this Wednesday completely filled out. Alex Huey will have extras if you didn't get one. If we don't get them Wednesday, please get to the bus early next week so we can make sure we have everyone's. You can also drop them at the church office.
Everyone (kids AND chaperones) must also fill out a Valley's Edge waiver BEFORE arrival time next week! Go to https://valleysedgesnowtubing.com/ and click on "SIGN WAIVER" at the top. Takes 1 minute to fill out. Make sure you don't forget anyone! You do not need to print this information.
All chaperones must be Safe and Sacred certified. If you are unsure if you are, contact Francis Albert. Otherwise, go to https://dol-in.safeenvironment.org/login/index.php and scroll down to "Create new account" to become certified. This should take about 15 min. to complete. You do not need to print this information unless you want to.
Failure to do any of the above will result in not being able to go. It would be terrible to get all the way there and realize you are not able to participate!
Kids must bring appropriate clothes to snow tube in. Most importantly, something that is both warm and hopefully waterproof! BOOTS, coveralls, snow pants or bibs, coat, gloves, hat, etc. are NECESSARY. Hand and foot warmers are a great idea! If you don't have waterproof clothes, bring an extra change of clothes just incase. Let us know if you need help with any of these items.
You may also bring a snack or drink for the bus if needed, especially if you get carsick. You might need sea bands, nausea medicine, etc. Please make sure we treat the bus with the upmost respect. We are blessed to be able to use it!
Again, we will leave the church parking lot at 3pm. Don't be late! If you can't make it for some reason, call Amy at 260-729-7661 ASAP. We will be eating at Red Front Pizza & Grill in Richmond at 4:15. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY DIETARY NEEDS ASAP!!!!!!! We will have a variety of pop and water to drink. We plan to begin at Valley's Edge around 5:30/5:45 and be done by 7:45 if anyone wants to chill for the last 15 min. in the lodge. Kids do NOT have to snow tube the entire time. They can go in and out of the lodge as much as they want.
If you or your child want any drinks or snacks in the lodge (hot cocoa might be a must!), you must bring your money for that.
Any questions, just ask! WE CANNOT WAIT!!!
