BIBLE STUDY POST #450 ~ IT IS NOT EASY TO DISAGREE WITH THE POPULAR END TIME PROPHECY THEORIES......but somebody has to! .....🔴'THE APOSTLE PAUL DID NOT CALL THE 'MAN OF SIN' the 'ANTICHRIST' ~ The apostle Paul in 2 Thess. 2:3 used the words the 'man of sin' and the 'son of perdition' but he did not call him the 'ANTICHRIST.' .....(I know some of you are rolling your eyes saying, 'So what? What does it matter that Paul did not call who he was talking about the 'ANTICHRIST' like John did?' It matters a lot, friend. What is this habit of just making a doctrine to be whatever we want it to be? Contemporary Prophecy finds itself being put on the spot because multiple end time theories are not Scriptural.) 🔴DID YOU KNOW THAT the word 'Antichrist' is only found in First John 2:18 (twice); 4:3 & 2 John 7? First John 2:22 says those who deny the Father and the Son is 'antichrist' including those who deny Jesus to be the Christ. ` First John 4:3 says they that deny Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of the 'spirit of antichrist.' 2 John 7 says, 'For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.' 🔴THE WORD 'ANTICHRIST' or 'antichristos' comes from 'anti' meaning 'instead of' or 'against'; and maybe substitution or opposition and of course 'Christos' meaning the Messiah or Christ. To the apostle John the word 'antichristos' never meant 'man of sin' or 'son of perdition.' The apostle Paul never used the word 'antichristos.' It is nowhere else found in the entire Bible. 🔴ACCORDING TO THE APOSTLE JOHN there was a 'spirit of antichrist' already working in his day. There were deniers of the Man Jesus being the Messiah (Christ) and those Gnostics who denied Jesus' coming in the flesh in the first century. 🔴JESUS SAID He was sent by God and came from God to bring our salvation through His shedding of the Blood. He said He and the Father were 'One.' Saint John 1:14 says, 'And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.' 🔴TECHNICALLY AND CONTEXTUALLY SPEAKING, it is not Scripturally correct to say the world is waiting on some 'ANTICHIRST.' Why? Because John said, '....you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know it is the last time. They (the antichrists) went out from us, but they were not of us.......' I John 2:18, 19. 🔴STAYING WITH JOHN'S MESSAGE ABOUT THE ANITCHRISTS of his day, he said they were 'anti' or against Jesus' teaching after the Lord Jesus had descended into Heaven doing the devil's work of taking believers away from the churches. They were men who DENIED the Man Jesus as the long-awaited Jewish Messiah. The 'antichrists' of that day were men who believed the Man Jesus was an imposter and demon possessed. The 'antichrists' of John's time were those who denied the Father and the Son and that Jesus Christ had come in the flesh. 🔴THAT ANTICHRIST SPIRIT prevails today more than 2,000 years later. The JEWS still deny Jesus to be their Messiah. Many today deny the Father and the Son. Many deny Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh. 🔴NOW, JUST TO BE FAIR for those who use the word 'ANTICHRIST' as the man who will supposedly sign a peace covenant with Israel and in the middle of the 7 years, break it and sit in the temple of God showing himself that he is God, if you desire to go that way (which I believe is a misinterpretation of Daniel 9:24-27 and 2 Thess. 2:1-4), go ahead and fetch John's words in his epistles and use his words that this 'antichrist' (of yours) 'CAME OUT FROM US.' Why? Because John's words plainly tell us that those 'antichrists' WERE ACTIVE IN THE CHURCH and a part of the CHURCH. .....🔴HOWEVER, today's doctrine of the ANTICHRIST is some man who will meet the criteria of a peace maker and have a charismatic attitude. But that, they say, won't last for long. Today's prophecy end time 'Antichrist' is according to the popular 'LEFT BEHIND' series by Jerry Jenkins who appears AFTER the rapture of the church. But the apostle Paul says that the 'man of sin' will come BEFORE the day of the Lord. And about the 'man of sin' that today's end time teachers says has to have the 'temple of God' in Jerusalem to sit in as God, well, the apostle Paul knew when he wrote to the Thessalonians that in just a few short years that Jerusalem temple would become desolate. He was not talking about the Jew's temple but the Christian's body, which know you not, is the temple of the Holy Ghost. 🟡NOW, back to the Scriptures concerning what John said about the 'antichrist' who would be IN THE CHURCH. You see, friend, how we are going back and forth from today's discombobulated mess of prophecy misinterpretations and what the Bible actual says? Paul's man of sin he likened unto the 'son of perdition' which correlates with who Jesus Christ once called Judas Iscariot, one of the Lord's disciples. It's the falling away that has been happening within the church that produces this man of sin. 🟡DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR FROM THE FALSE PROPHECY TEACHERS ~ I know that sounds a little rough to some, but Bible prophecy has been misinterpreted and wrested for so many years, the false teachers have been accepted as the truth. Without naming anyone, let's look at the most important prophecy in the entire Bible, shall we? Daniel 9:24-27 is THE ONE - the BIG ONE - that has been tampered with, added to and wrested. Without expounding on this Scripture including its contextual truths, modern prophecy views for the most part changed ONE WORD in the passage. Just one word. In Daniel 9:27 says, 'And HE shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.....' The question is who was the Holy Ghost through the angel Gabriel talking about when he said, 'AND HE....' The answer is simple. Go back and read the entire context of Daniel 9:24-27 and you will see where the 'MESSIAH' is mentioned twice. The whole passage is speaking about the 'MESSIAH' but modern prophecy teachers CHANGED the 'HE' from the contextual 'Messiah' to mean someone else who was not at all meant. And WHO did the contemporary teachers say it was? Yep, you guessed it, the 'ANTICHRIST.' Anyone who gets up on the right side of the bed every day, can see the Holy Spirit did NOT have some future 'antichrist' in mind. Can you see that? ✝️

BIBLE STUDY POST #420 ~ THE HOLY SPIRIT REVEALED TO JOHN THE REVELATOR WHO the Beast was...⚫️IF THERE IS ANYTHING SATAN HAS MESSED WITH IT IS BIBLE PROPHECY. Especially the KEY Scriptures which have something to do with the figures of 'the Beast' and the 'false prophet.' But I think the devil also saw the opportunity to deceive the 'very elect' concerning the most important prophecy in the entire Bible, Daniel 9:24-27. And can you believe he changed one word in Daniel 9:27, 'he' to mean some future 'antichrist' while the context of 24-27 was the MESSIAH. ⚫️NEVERTHELESS, if there is one passage that the enemy has constantly worked to keep from being understood, it is Revelation 13:18. 'Here is wisdom. Let him that understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of (a) man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.' ⚫️ FEW CHRISTIANS ACTUALLY STUDY THE REVELATION or Bible Prophecy because of the way it is presented today by the modern prophecy teachers. Pre-tribs, mid-tribs, post- tribs; preterists; futurists or dispensationalists, historists and all the forms of millenniumism. JUST RECENTLY SOMEONE went out on a limb they weren't supposed to by predicting the Rapture of the church to be September 22 or 23. It never happened. ⚫️THE BOOK OF REVELATION has 256 verses of predicted matter in it, which means 63% of the Apocalypse is predictive. BUT HERE'S THE KICKER; The Revelation is the book with the most predictions in SYMBOLICAL FORM, 24%. Therefore, it is not wise to read the Book of Revelation is literal form. Within the study of these symbols, types, literalism and figurative speech, we look at the words of the Holy Spirit inspired in Rev. 13:18 and even the entire chapter. As we read chapter thirteen, it is quite easy to recognize the types and figures, but when the words comes down to verse eighteen, the Holy Spirit seems to be wanting our undivided attention. 'HERE IS WISDOM' - 'Wisdom' or 'Sophia, is knowledge of how to regulate one's relationship with God and knowing the difference between false or worldly wisdom. In that case, WISDOM is of great value in the process of UNDERSTANDING the meaning of verse 18. The comment that is made, 'let him that has understanding,' insinuates there are those who do not possess the correct and reasonable faculties to see this prophecy truth. It evidently takes both wisdom and knowledge to come to a conclusion of what and who the Spirit is speaking about. And who is the Spirit speaking to? That's right, to John. He wanted John to know who He was talking about. ⚫️WE MUST STAY HERE IN trying to learn what the Spirit was telling John. 'Sophia' or wisdom is also found in Rev. 5:12; 7:12 and 17:9. Let's look at them. Rev. 5:12 says, 'Saying with a loud voice, 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor and glory and blessing.' 7:12, 'Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever, Amen.' 17:9, 'And here is the mind which hath WISDOM. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.' ⚫️ THE CONTEXT of these passages reveals to us that what ever is 'behind the scenes' to John the Revelator, will be shown to him. That means in verse 18, the Holy Spirit gives to him the instructions on how to know who the Beast happens to be. He that has understanding is supposed to 'COUNT the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, AND HIS NUMBER IS .....666.' THEREFORE, '666' is THE NUMBER of which the letters in the name of the Beast ADD UP TO. ⚫️LET'S STOP RIGHT HERE! Verse 17 says that no man can buy or sell EXCEPT he had the mark, OR the name of the beast, OR the number of HIS name.' Read that again. You had to know either the MARK of the Beast, OR his name OR the number. The MARK, THE NAME, THE NUMBER. One of those three............Then, in 14:7 and 9 it reads 'receive HIS mark.....' and 'whosoever receives the mark of HIS name.' 15:2, '.....victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name.....' 16:2, '....sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast AND upon them which worshipped image.' 19:20, '...with which he deceived that had received the mark of the beast AND those that worshipped his image....' 20:4, '...which had not worshipped the beast, neither HIS image, neither had received HIS MARK upon their foreheads, or in their hands......' ⚫️THE HOLY SPIRIT told the apostle John WHO the Beast was THROUGH giving him the NUMBER THAT ADDED UP TO HIS NAME. All John had to do to discover who the beast was, was to COUNT the numbers that each letter in the name of the Beast which happened to add up to six hundred, threescore and six. The Holy Spirit knew that at the time of this revelation, around 65 A.D., there was used in the Greek world what we call today 'Gematria.' Each word in the Greek alphabet had a number like 'A' = 1; 'B' = 2 and so forth. Using the Greek system present in their world at that time, there was only one NATION whose letters were equivalent and accumulated to six hundred, threescore and six. And that was 'THE LATIN KINGDOM' or the Roman empire. ⚫️MOST PROTESTANTS from Martin Luther up through the nineteenth century, believed the Roman Church was the fourth beast and the Popery was the image of the beast. It was in 1830 when John Nelson Darby changed the entire context of prophecy, turning it into a 'futurist idea.' A young woman, Miss Margaret Mcdonald contributed to this drastic change through a supposed vision or dream she had of the end times. 'Dispensationalism' or the 'Futurist' theory, which was concocted by a Roman Catholic priest, ...became the end time prophecy of most churches. ⚫️ EVIDENTLY, wisdom and knowledge from the Holy Spirit was substituted by ignorant but well-meaning believers with a dose of charismatic and mesmerizing end time ideas that took the original Biblical prophecy contexts and turning them into prophecies that cannot be located in the Word of God. Why do I say that? Because the Holy Spirit inspiring the words coming to the apostle John, presented a plan through wisdom and understanding that would reveal who the Beast actually was. We believe the Holy Spirit revealed to John in his time and place, the 'man' or the empire that would be that kingdom which would demand the whole earth to worship it and his image. Rome, Italy, is where it all started and remains today. ⚫️IF YOU STILL HAVE NOT PICKED UP WHERE THIS POST IS HEADED, just pay attention to how many times the Holy Spirit had John write down 'WORSHIP' in the Revelation passages concerning the mark of the beast.... Rev. 13 has 'WORSHIP' 5 times; 14:9-11 has WORSHIP twice; 15:2 does not have it; 16:2, has WORSHIP once; 19:20 has WORSHIP once and 20:4 has it once. THEREFORE, 'WORSHIP' has something to do with the MARK of the beast. But you don't hear that from contemporary prophecy teachers. ⚫️I KNOW FRIEND THAT YOU ARE SET IN YOUR WAYS CONCERNING BIBLE PROPHECY FOR I WAS TOO FOR MANY, MANY YEARS. I UNDERSTAND. And, I remember the traumatic struggle I had when a Wesleyan Prophecy teacher helped me see inside the realm of where contemporary teachers misinterpreted vital verses. It pricked my mind. But the Holy Spirit came and leveled my mind to see deeper and wider from the modern teachings. When Wesleyan Bible Prophecy opened my eyes to the most important prophecy in the Bible, Daniel 9:24-27, everything else fell in place. Now, it is the same way with the subject of the 'Mark' of the Beast. Remember, there is man's teaching and then there is the Holy Spirit's. In Rev. 13:18, when the Word says, 'Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding...' it means wisdom and understanding NOT from man's point of view, but from the Holy Spirit. ⚫️ONE OF THE KEYS to UNDERSTANDING Rev. 13:18 is to pay attention to the word 'WORSHIP' that does not just appear in chapter thirteen, but in each passage concerning the 'Mark' except Rev. 15:2. 'WORSHIP' in 13:2 'and they worshiped the dragon or the devil' and then 'they worshiped the beast.' NOTICE IN 16:2 that the vial that was poured upon the earth, fell upon the men which had the mark of the beast AND upon them which WORSHIPED his image. THAT IS SO IMPORTANT. ⚫️When the Holy Spirit gave wisdom and understanding to John the revelator, he immediately COUNTED the number of the name of the Beast and knew in his time who the Beast was. It did not surprise him that it was the Roman Empire. However, at his time, it was not known who the image of the beast was even though there were many antichrists present. Martin Luther knew who the antichrist was. John Wesley also knew who the antichrist was. Adam Clarke, in his commentary, goes to great lengths in proving the antichrist was the Pope and the Beast was the Roman Church. ✝️

🔵FORMER CATHOLIC PRIEST ALBERTO RIVERA in the 1960's predicted that 'glossa lalia' (speaking in tongues) would be the bridge that would bring the 'wayward, pagan' Protestants back to their 'Mother Church,' the Catholic Church. 🟣ALTHOUGH CATHOLICS WERE NOT involved in the Azusa Street Revivals (1906-1909) in Los Angeles, the Spiritualist Churches were. The Spiritualist Church, founded in 1848 by the Fox Sisters, had already planted dozens of 'churches' around Los Angeles. It did not take long for some of the congregants to hear about the 'tongues meetings' going on in an abandoned Methodist church building. They infiltrated the meetings and took over Pastor Seymour's oversight, coaching honest seekers to speak in unknown babblings. 🔵At Notre Dame on Friday, May 28, 1976, approximately 25,000 devotees of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement gathered to hear Archbishop Joseph L. Bernadin of Cincinnati read his approving document while in a heavy downpour. 🟣William J. Seymour, who traveled from Texas to California to eventually pastor the Azusa Street Mission, was hoping to experience what his mentor, Charles F. Parham, had prayed for that the Lord God would restore the gifts of the Spirit, especially the gift of tongues. April 1906, at the Azusa Street Church would be the place where 'speaking in tongues' was experienced as thousands came from around the world to see the 'Pentecostal Revival.' 🔵This renewal invaded almost every branch of Protestantism: Some Methodists, Baptists, Episcopalians, Presbyterians etc., however, by1973 over 50 different Protestant denominations were invaded by this charismatic movement with more than 2,500 clergymen enjoined. 🟣BESIDES THE SPIRITUALISTS' CHURCH building upon the experience of tongues, the MORMON Church, led by their founder, Joseph Smith (1805-1844), introduced tongues into his church about 1833, and eleven years later he reaffirmed it in a declaration of Mormon doctrine. They never claimed a real language but maintained that God would shape the ecstatic utterance into a language. Meetings were advertised as a time of tongues speaking. After the meeting was well started, Smith would call upon an illiterate individual and ask him to stand to his feet and make sounds of some kind and the Lord would make a tongue out of it. 'GLOSSA LALIA' or speaking in unknown tongues had strange bedfellows to begin with. 🔵WESLEYAN-HOLINESS churches like the Wesleyan Methodist and Pilgrim Holiness Church, were born out of the fire while preaching the baptism in the Holy Ghost which came simultaneously with entire sanctification (without the tongues). Acts 15:8, 9 confirms that on the Day of Pentecost the 120 disciples in the Upper Room, who were 'filled with the Holy Ghost,' were definitely experiencing their 'Second Blessing' that Wesley spoke of sometimes. Of course, praying clear through to being sanctified wholly when the Fire fell, all took place in the regenerated disciples in Acts 2:4a, without the tongues. When the Holy Ghost Fire fell upon the disciples purifying their hearts by faith, it was their inner witness that He had come to His temple🟣MOST CATHOLICS AND PENTEOCOSTALS miss the 'comma' in Acts 2:4, 'And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost - COMMA - and began speaking in other languages as the Spirit gave them utterance.' That 'comma' was inserted by the King James translators BECAUSE in the original Greek, 'And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost' was written in the AORIST TENSE, signifying that something took place and was completed in the past. But not only that, but that the AORIST tense always expresses an action simply as past, neither having any connection with time present, nor any reference to another action (like the disciples speaking in tongues), nor any notion of continuance. This means that the baptism in the Holy Ghost was a past action having nothing to do with their speaking in other languages later that morning. WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY CATHOLICS & PENTECOSTALS overlook this Greek grammar syntax of Acts 2:4. 🔵BUT THERE'S MORE - The second part of Acts 2:4b, '.....and began to speak with other languages as the Spirit gave to them to utter forth,' (literal translation) is in the IMPERFECT TENSE signifying that the disciples' speaking in foreign languages was something they did and continued to do over and over again. 🟣 'WHERE THE AORIST & IMPERFECT TENSES OCCUR SIDE BY SIDE, AS THEY DO IN ACTS 2:4, 10:46 & 19:6, it is to be assumed that the change from one tense to another is made on purpose and the difference in idea is to be sought.' This grammatical truth PROVES beyond a shadow of a doubt, that their infilling of the Spirit was completed earlier that Pentecost morning, and that when they began to speak one at a time in the mother tongue of the fifteen Jewish nations around 9 a.m., these two actions of the Holy Spirit had absolutely nothing to do with each other. Which means, that the popular doctrine that tongues is the initial evidence of being filled with the Spirit, IS A FALSE DOCTRINE. 🔵THE IMPERFECT TENSE proves that also, that the disciples did not just speak in tongues once, at their infilling, but that Holy Ghost infilling was already completed and a past action of the Spirit, then sometime later they continued to speak with foreign languages, one at a time, as God gave them the gift of speaking in other languages they had not learned before until all in Jerusalem had heard the wonderful works of God 'in their own language.' 🟣TODAY THERE ARE 15 MILLION CATHOLICS who have experienced 'glossa lalia.' Catholics may be devout in their Church and its beliefs, but they trust in their works and their Church to be saved. Therefore, their experience of speaking in tongues to prove they have the Holy Ghost, proves nothing at all except that they have spoken gibberish. 🔵ALBERTO RIVERA WAS GIVEN a prophecy that 'glossa lalia' would bridge the Catholics and the Protestants. How can this happen? The Protestants and even all the Christian churches in Pentecostalism must look at the Charismatic Catholics and accept them because they MUST have the Holy Ghost, because they speak in tongues. 🟣THE FINAL BATTLE BETWEEN who has the Holy Spirit and who doesn't, will come down to EXPERIENCE and PHENOMENON compared to the Word of God and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. THEREFORE, what are the FALSE DOCTINES & DOGMAS & man-made LIES of the Roman Catholic Church? 🔘Here is a short list of their falsities; The Pope is not only infallible, but also the Holy Father, the Vicar, God and Christ on the Earth; His Holiness, the Most Holy Father, The Holy Father, the Sovereign Pontiff including that the Popery was founded first by the apostle Peter by Jesus in Matthew 16:18. Additional lies concern Mary who they say is the 'Spouse of the Spirit,' 'the Mother of God,' was Immaculately conceived; Kept form original sin and personal sin; Queen of heaven; Channel of Grace; Advocate; Mediatrix, Coredemptrix; bodily assumed into glory because she never physically died etc. MORE THAN 20 LIES and beliefs that are not founded upon God's Word. ◼️Why would their leaders do such a thing? For one reason, they do not believe the Holy Bible to be the only inspired book and can glean anything they so desire from their own libraries. The Holy Scriptures are not their final authority but what they desire their millions of followers to believe. 🔵FORMER CATHOLIC PRIEST ALBERTO RIVERA, a controversial Jesuit believed and wrote about how the Catholic Church and Protestants would be brought together through the means of 'glossa lalia' or speaking in tongues. This took place in the 1960s and continues today especially through the Trinitarian Pentecostals. 🔘Most of today's Apostolic Pentecostals came out of the Azusa Street meetings as they denied the Trinity and claimed that 'tongues' was the initial evidence of being filled with the Spirit. THE FALSE DOCTRINES of the modern Charismatic and Pentecostal groups include 'tongues' is THE evidence or sign of being filled with the Holy Ghost; and/or that 'tongues' is optional but needs to be sought to have the anointing in the ministry and in one's personal life; "Praying in tongues' is 'praying in the Spirit' or 'praying in the Holy Ghost,' using Jude 20 & First Cor. 14 which is removing it from each context; 'the Holy Ghost' & 'Tongues' are synonymous; 🔘In Acts 2:38 they believe though Peter didn't say it, he meant that the 'gift of the Holy Ghost' was automatically speaking in tongues; In Isaiah 28:11, 12 these groups misinterpret and/or wrest the meaning and context of the chapter, i. e., that tongues speaking is 'rest and refreshing' to the user; In Acts 2:4b modern groups believe the disciples spoke in 'unknown babblings' in the Upper Room which they believe was the 'noise' heard all over Jerusalem that drew thousands of Jews to the Temple; ALL OF THESE BELIEFS are FALSE. 🔳But there's more. In Mark 16:17, 18 Jesus' supposed words are used to make their belief that 'new tongues' is what all believers will speak in when they believe; SOME PENTECOSTALS believe that Pentecost and the disciples' Upper Room experience of speaking in unknown tongues, was when the disciples were 'Born Again' or Saved; 🔘Many groups believe that all their backsliders need to do is to come back to the altar and speak in some sort of tongues, and through that action, they are back into the fold, using Acts 3:19; Most groups, including both Trinitarian and Apostolic, believe Romans 8:26, 27 are speaking about how the Holy Ghost prays for us in unknown babblings as a prayer language, and in a most powerful way plows through all of Satan's strongholds right into the presence of the Lord. This is nothing more than committing eisegesis. Also, both groups believe in 'progressive sanctification' which is not found in the Scriptures. 🟣TO TOP THIS ALL OFF, the Apostolics believe one must be baptized in 'Jesus Name' only, according to Acts 2:38, and all others who were baptized in the Trinity, are not Saved. That means, even though the Trinitarian Pentecostals speak in unknown babblings as their sign of being Spirit-filled, that, according to the Apostolics, they still are not Saved because of being baptized in the 'wrong formula' and must be baptized again in the correct formular, if they want to go to Heaven, etc. 🔵THEREFORE, these 15+ man-made doctrines that are taken out of the Biblical context or wrested are FALSE DOCTRINES and not the faith once delivered unto the saints. Many of these misnomers are taken from Paul's epistles and changing the original meanings of Paul's words to fit into their own doctrine. LET US PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER lest we be caught up in erroneous doctrines that will make our soul be eternally lost. ✝️
