LCMS Memory Verse of the Week: Psalm 91:11-12

09/27/2026

Thank you to Pastor Straub and Vicar Mark for leading us in worship on this Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost.

Pastor Straub's sermon focused on Holy Gospel reading of Matthew 21:23-32. We tend to waffle. We waffle on sin, we waffle on love, we waffle on our word, we waffle on promises. We need to give up waffling and fully commit to Jesus. God sent Jesus to deal with sin. Jesus is the answer.

Thank you to Judy N. for leading the Children's Message today. Judy shared the parable of two sons from the Gospel reading with the children. Saying words is easy, doing it is hard. Words and actions go together. Each child was given a heart to remind them that Jesus loves us and we can show the love of Jesus when we help.
