Thank you to Pastor Straub and Vicar Mark for leading us in worship today, this Sixth Sunday of Easter. Pastor Straub's sermon focused on the Holy Gospel reading John 14:15-21.

We are part of God's family, loved by God. Where is God? God loves us and is with us in Jesus. What does love look like? Love can look like: patience, understanding, forgiveness, kindness, encouragement, support, listening, praying for and with people, truly parenting children, honoring and caring for parents. It is difficult and challenging. How much does God love us, his family? Look to verse 18: "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit". He loves us so much he gave His only Son for us.

Thank you to Vicar Mark and Mrs. Haworth for leading the Children's Message today. The Haworth's shared with the children that Jesus loves them so much. Jesus gets our hearts full of love so that we can share the love with others. They then shared carnations with the children to give to their mothers and to give to all ladies in the congregation, whether or not they are mothers because they help the children and pray for them.

Thank you to all that contributed to the Noisy Offering today to support the Ladies Group of St. Andrew. The Ladies Group supports St. Andrew in so many ways, this Noisy Offering collection is a great way to give back to the Ladies to help them continue supporting St. Andrew.
