𝐖𝐞❤️𝐕𝐁𝐒!
Today was day four and the conclusion of VBS 2026.

Tonight we heard a parable of Jesus, the children sang songs that they learned at VBS, there was a fun family craft and hot dogs for everyone!

Thank you to everyone who helped support VBS - our VBS director and all of our VBS volunteers who gave their time and talents, those who donated supplies or funds, the families who shared their children with us so that they could learn about Jesus. A special thank you to Pastor Straub and Vicar Mark for supporting our VBS.

And of course, we thank the Lord above for enabling us to once again host VBS and share Jesus love with the children.

𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 -- 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐧

𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐞: 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐞 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝟏𝟓: 𝟏𝟏-𝟑𝟐
“But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’ “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜: “I am Jesus’ Little Lamb” , “ Jesus Loves Me”, and “This Little Light of Mine”. These songs remind us that we are loved, forgiven, and should share what we know with those around us.

𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: The farmer had two sons, one stayed and helped his father. The other left, spent all of his money, and returned home feeling guilty for what he had done. his father welcomed him home and threw a party to celebrate. This story shows us that God will rejoice and celebrate when those who have been lost find their way back-- no matter what they may have done.

𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: Celebration dancing because the father in our story was SO happy his son came home!

𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭: Stained glass craft with a sticker to remind us that Jesus loves us

𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐤: Ice cream cone cupcakes-- a celebration just like in the story!

𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: “Thank you, Jesus for forgiving me. Amen”
