A blessed Divine Mercy Sunday to all! For those who are able, don’t forget to join us today at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland for our celebration of Divine Mercy. We will have a Eucharistic Holy Hour with Benediction from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. At 3:00 pm (the hour of Divine Mercy) we will chant the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Confessions will be available from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm.

Divine Mercy Sunday may be one of the greatest days of the year because of the immeasurable amount of grace Jesus promised to pour forth on this day. In the private revelation accepted publicly by the Church, Jesus made a specific promise to Saint Faustina about Divine Mercy Sunday:

“On that day . . . The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” (Diary, 699)
