Tickets for the Bigfoot Poetry Festival’s Finals Stage are now available for purchase!!

Come out on Saturday, June 27th, for the culmination of the 2026 Bigfoot Poetry Festival - where we'll find out who's taking home first place this year! The top four teams from the previous two nights will advance to Finals, with one winning the title of the Bigfoot Poetry Slam Champions. Along with the competition, there will be a musical opener when doors open and a short showcase at the top of the evening.

Doors open at 6:30 PM. Show starts at 7:00 PM. This show is happening at First Congregational United Church of Christ, all ages welcome (though be advised that poets are not censored so there will more than likely be some mature content). There will be snacks and drinks for purchase.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Discounts are available for students. If you are a teacher looking to bring a large group of students, or if you are someone who would like to attend but can’t afford a ticket, please email [email protected].

Tickets for this event can be found at the linktree in our IG bio.

If you are a registered poet or volunteer (side note: volunteer sign up form will be dropping within the week), you DO NOT have to buy a ticket to attend Finals Stage!

This is our only ticketed event of the entire three day festival. We will be sharing more soon about our full programming schedule - all of which will be FREE!

Don’t miss out on this chance to see which team will be named the Slam Champions of the 2026 Bigfoot Poetry Festival!!

Curious about our upcoming Hidden Women of Rome program? Tune in to All Classical's Northwest Previews this Friday at 8 AM to hear Host Andrea Murray interview this program's curator, John K. Cox. He will shed light on the research that uncovered how central virtuoso nuns were to the music scene of 17th century Rome and how Queen Christina of Sweeden carved her name into the opulent marble foundation of its Baroque art scene. https://www.allclassical.org/programs/northwest-previews/

"In a world where peace continues to be elusive, the threats from the United States are hegemonic at a time when the president is also defying rule of law in the United States with use of force, a militarized federal presence in the form of ICE and use of the national guard. This show of force resulted in the murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis in 2026 and the killing of 32 people by ICE in 2025.

We want peace. Not an aspirational peace, a peace where people can live without fear and anxiety in their homes and communities. Peace that is provided and upheld by elected officials. Peace and security that is absent of war and violence. Peace and safety from oppression and tyranny."

-Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia A. Thompson
General Minister & President/CEO, UCC
