Super Senior Intergenerational Sunday
This Sunday, the Woodfords Church community will give thanks for its beloved elders and seniors. During this special service, members of the Woodfords Senior Program will lead us in celebrating the wisdom, insights, and unique perspectives that older adults bring to our lives.

The morning's scripture passages are Proverbs 17:6 and 1 Timothy 5:1-2.
Fran Seeley, Steve Gray, and Barbara Thomson will share personal reflections about the role that faith has played in their experiences and understandings of life challenges and adversity.

Today we are celebrate Pentecost - the day that is often described as the birthday of the church.

Jesus and The Holy Spirit
(And It's Mother's Day, too!)

The scripture passage of the day will be John 14:15-21, in which Jesus promises that God will send the Holy Spirit to help and support his disciples (including us!) after Jesus himself departs this world.
We will share a Communion meal and recognize mothers and all those who have played nurturing roles in our lives (even if they haven't been biologically related to us).
