This is what I say to those "Christians" who give reasons why they dont attend "Church".
Please read Hebrews 10:25. Also understand that YOU are the church.. not the building that service is held in, thats why it's called church service. That's where we assemble in faith, in fellowship and a place where we can get encouragement and encourage others, thats our purpose to bear one anothers burdens. (Read Galatians 6:2) There is no perfect church, and we thank God for mercy and grace, "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (read Roman 3: 33-26). And the last thing I'll say is, you are responsible for falling short whether you attend a "Church" or not, because the Bible clearly says "Study to show THYSELF approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). All that being said. I would like to invite you and all men to my church, particularly to our discipleship/mens fellowship gathering, Iron Sharpens Iron, Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, 6:30pm at Corner Stone Community COGIC 2216 NE Killingsworth Portland Oregon 97211. It's where MEN can safely discuss the issues and worries of the world, and receive advice and Godly direction. And our (Church service is held 11:15am every Sunday, Sunday school 9:30am) may God richly bless and keep you in His loving care during your journey to be more like Christ.
