Fall Kick-off Sunday, Sept 13th! The choir returns this Sunday with our new Choir Director, Bennett Edwards. During the worship service, we will welcome back the choir, announce fall activities, and share information about where we are and where we are going as a parish.
After the service, stay for the Parish Picnic! Listen to old-time music with local musicians Betsy Branch on fiddle and Leela Grace on banjo and enjoy fried chicken provided by the church. Bring a side dish to share if you can, but there will be plenty of food for all, so you are welcome to stay even if you aren't able to bring a dish. Wear your St Barnabas tshirt if you've got one!

Our celebration of the Season of Creation began Sunday, August 30 and extends through the Feast of St. Francis on Sunday, October 4.

With Christians around the world, we give thanks for the beauty and bounty of God's Creation, acknowledge our failures to care for the natural world as God intended from the beginning, and pray for the wisdom and will to work for the healing and well-being of Creation. The prayers, hymns, readings and songs for our liturgies reflect the focus of the season.

Please enjoy these beautiful, shade-loving hostas, ferns, and coral bells adorning our worship space in honor of this season. We will plant them outside after the season concludes.

We cooked a "State Fair" themed dinner at Shepherd's Door tonight. Corn dogs, curly fries, corn on the cob, coleslaw, watermelon, lemonade, and ice cream cups. It was a big hit! So much joy watching these women as they travel their recovery journey!
