In honor and remembrance of Bishop and Mother Hornbuckle we were blessed with their dedication and faithfulness, their work for the Lord, for the many people they reached, taught, won and developed unto God, here’s a scripture Bishop loved and preached about, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. In Loving Memory of
Bishop Hornbuckle
We would like to take this time to pay tribute to our founder, Bishop Hornbuckle. His birthday was January 31st. Bishop Hornbuckle was kind, caring and compassionate. He was a champion for Christ and he spread the good news of the gospel where ever he went. Those who he came in contact with still remember that encounter to this day. He taught with wisdom and was genuinely concerned with whether or not you knew the Lord. By the time you left his presence one would feel like if they didn't know the Lord the ought to. His smile was infectious, his walk had a step to it, and his personality so full of charisma. God blessed him and God kept him. We are all witnesses to that. He was a loving husband, a caring father, a wonderful grandfather, and a faithful pastor. He will never be forgotten. As he walks the streets of gold, we still listen to his words today. He is forever etched in our hearts and minds. So today in closing as we say we love you, and we miss you. We won't say good bye instead see you when I get there.
