🎉 Celebrating Pastor Kathie Ricketts! 🎉

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, St. Stephen’s in Portland, TX joyfully celebrated both the graduation from LCMC Harvest Workers and installation as Pastor for Kathie Ricketts!

Kathie completed the Harvest Workers' Pastoral Ministry Track in November, and we are thrilled to see her step into this new call with such faith and dedication. Her journey through Harvest Workers formed her for exactly this kind of Spirit-led leadership, and St. Stephen’s is blessed to welcome her.

Please join us in congratulating Pastor Kathie as she begins this new chapter of ministry. We’re excited for all God will do through her in the Portland community! 🙏✨

This coming Sunday is Transfiguration Sunday.
Martin Luther highlighted the Transfiguration as a source of comfort, pointing to the future glory of the resurrection and the hope of life beyond the present suffering.

Join us in recognizing the glorious nature of Christ before entering the solemn, penitential season of Lent.

Ash Wednesday is February 18.
