JOIN THE HANDBELL CHOIR!
Bells! Bells! Bells! Our WPC handbell choir needs one or two new ringers. If you've ever thought you might enjoy ringing bells, please consider joining us. No prior bell ringing experience is necessary, but reading music is required. Extra points if you're a weight lifter and can move the big heavy bells! We rehearse on Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Reach out to Martha Wilson if you're interested or want more information. (E-mail the church office at [email protected] if you need Martha’s contact information.)

SEPTEMBER 6TH: REMEMBERING MARGI BROWN
A year ago on Labor Day weekend, Westminster lost a dear friend, Margi Brown. For many years, Margi was involved in countless aspects of church life. To honor her legacy, the Worship and Music Committee commissioned new “Gifts of the Spirit” banners, created by Caroline Greger and Karen Karn, that will be dedicated to her legacy during the 10:30 a.m. communion service on Sunday, September 6, during worship in the sanctuary.

After worship that day, during fellowship time (about 11:30 a.m.) in the Great Hall, the Worship and Music Committee and the Racial Justice Working Group will host a reception to honor Margi. Cake will be served, and cards will be available for people to write messages about their memories of Margi that will be shared with her family. We hope you’ll join us.
