Join us for a truly meaningful and historic moment in the life of our church family 💛

After 70 incredible years of ministry as Rockwood Church of God, we invite you to gather with us for a special service as we close this chapter and step into what God has next. While this will be our final service under this name, it’s also the beginning of something new—and we would love for YOU to be part of it.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️ We love because He first loved us - 1 John 4:19

Today we celebrate love — but not just romantic love. We celebrate the greatest love ever given… the love of Jesus.
Before we ever chose Him, He chose us. Before we ever loved Him, He first loved us. His love is steady, sacrificial, unconditional, and never-ending.
No matter your season of life — single, married, widowed, young, or seasoned — you are deeply loved by God.
May your heart be reminded today that you are known, seen, and cherished by the One who created you. 💕

This week in Black History Month, I am honoring Howard Thurman—a theologian, pastor, and spiritual guide whose faith-centered teachings shaped the Civil Rights Movement.

Howard Thurman believed that a deep relationship with God fuels courage, love, and justice. He reminded us that faith is not passive—it calls us to listen for God’s voice, to love boldly, and to work for peace and dignity for all people.

As we reflect this month, may we be inspired to live out our faith with compassion, humility, and a commitment to love our neighbors as Christ loves us. 🤍✝️

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
— Matthew 25:40
