Where Scripture meets sisterhood. We are two weeks into the 5-week 'Craving Community' women's Bible study led by Pastor Katie. With open hearts and open Bibles, this group of women is growing deeper in faith and friendship through God's Word. Every single one of us is living by a story that we believe defines who we are, why we're here, and what really matters. Maybe your story is "I'm the funny one" or "I'm the successful one" or even "I'm the failure". Maybe your story is rooted in your politics or your job.

Here's the thing about the Lord's Supper: it will confront any and every story that wants to define you more than the story of Jesus--the greatest story ever told. The story of the King who died and rose again to make you his own. He is your story. He defines who you are.

In case you don't already know this wonderful member of our CMBC community, meet Morgan Salzman! After joining CMBC three years ago, Morgan quickly became a part of the worship team and has been serving ever since. Outside of church, Morgan is a professional photographer, which she says has been a ministry opportunity for her as she gets to work closely with couples and families, capturing God's Creation.

Morgan and her husband, Sam, are mourning the loss of their daughter, Noa, and Morgan notes that they are so grateful for the community, support, and prayers they've received from our church family throughout this journey.

We are blessed to have Morgan at CMBC--thank you, Morgan, for all that you do for our community!
