A memorial service for Jan Geiling will be held at the church at 1 pm tomorrow (Thursday Feb 16th.) We pray for the Lord's comfort to all members of the Geiling family during this time of loss.

Tomorrow services will return to their normally scheduled times of 9:30 am at Grand Ave UMC and 11:00 am at First UMC. Our new interim pastor, Les Lindgren, will be at both services. Join us in welcoming him!

We will have a combined church service tomorrow, 10am at First UMC. It will be Pastor Tom's last Sunday with us. We look forward to having you join us in worship!

Today, we celebrated the 12 years Pastor Tom and the Buratovich Family have served and led our church in ministry. It was a wonderful time of reflection and thanksgiving for the way God, in his infinite grace, has used Pastor Tom to touch so many lives in the Porterville Methodist Churches and wider Porterville community. It is a bittersweet farewell as we pray for their family on this next step in their journey of faith, but will miss their presence here with us. During a fun celebration luncheon activity, we learned the song below is Pastor Tom's favorite song. It is fitting to share here as it reflects so well the honesty, transparency, and genuine faith with which Pastor Tom has served us for these past years. Enjoy...
