Prayer Needed:
Please be especially prayerful today for the Usiak family that is on our prayer list. Today is the memorial for the son that has passed. And now the daughter has had some setbacks that has everyone is concerned. Below is the latest update about the daughter.
We worship a God of miracles. If it be His will, this family is praying for one.
“Cadence is very much in need of our prayers today. Below are updates from yesterday and this morning. Please keep her in your thoughts as she remains in critical condition.
4/23/26
On Thursday her chest x-ray improved, and they had given medications to pull fluid from her lungs. They were unable to take to CT scan because of her lung instability, and her pupils have changed and remain sluggish, so they aren’t sure what could be causing that without a CT. The was an increase of pressure in her head, with concern of a bad drain, so she had surgery to replace it. The replaced drain was successful, causi9ng pressures to come down and fluid off her brain.

Last night was not the turning point we had been hoping for. Doctors found Cadence had a stroke on her left side, and they don’t know how it affected her brain stem. She has spasms with increased swelling. Cadence has also experienced a rupture of the aneurysm in her carotid artery. They are going to do another procedure to assist with swelling, but aren’t sure if it will help or if she will wake up.”
