Here is something to think about today....
Yesterday I saw a headline about the Corona virus. For some reason the headline jumped out at me. I knew the Lord was speaking to me so I was still for a moment and just looked at the headline:
"COVID19 death rates increase."
I don't write that to spark fear. I just know that in that moment the Lord was trying to speak to me.
I grabbed my Bible next to me and saw it was bookmarked to 2 Corinthians. I looked at the headline again and this is how it jumped out at me:
CO VID 19.
I thought well maybe the CO is talking about the book of Corinthians. So I opened up my bible to 2 Corinthians. I looked up the verse 1:9. And when I saw it, I couldn't believe it!
This is what it says:
"Indeed we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead."
Man!! Did you get that?
How many of you have been relying on yourselves? Have you been relying on your ability to stock up on food? On your ability to provide for your family?
How many of you have started to leave God out of the equation a bit more out of fear and worry?
God is using this to show us not to rely on ourselves but to rely on Him!
His power!
His provision!
His promises!
God is using this to break off pride and fear and to instill complete trust in Him.
But wait.... there is more!
The word "vid" is in the very middle. I decided to look up the meaning of it. Guess what it means?
It means to see.
What if God is asking us to SEE that He is still in the midst of this? He hasn't forsaken us. His promises are still YES and Amen!
As scary as the world may appear to look right now, I encourage all of you to release your fears to Him. Don't rely on your power and your ability to get by.
Seek Him wholeheartedly.
The word corona has a definition of a crown. But it also has another meaning that says "what surrounds you."
If you look at what surrounds us today, it may look like it is not pretty. Lack of supplies, long lines, scared people, closed buildings, etc. But let's not lose focus that in the midst of this, God is here. And He will never leave us. He surrounds us like a shield. He surrounds us with His glory.
"And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, he shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”
1 Peter 5:4

Pockets full of stones,Yet bound by sin!

John 8:7. 1 Samuel 17:40

We see each and everyday people talking about this person or that Family!
Even people who say they are filled with the Holy Ghost cast stones at this family or that person when we are full of sin .We walk around with our pockets full of stones and we wonder how come God does not bless us .How can we receive blessings with our pockets, bags, and our hearts full of blaming other people of our shot comings! We all need to empty our hearts ,pockets, bags of stones ! The day is co I got when stones are going to be cast at a man of God! Acts 7:51-60 Stephen was a great man of God! We need to be loving one another not casting stones ! John 15-9 and Romans 5:8
Need to walk in Newness of life
Romans 6:3-7
Need to empty our pockets !

Do You Need To Forgive God?"

Honestly, some of us need to forgive God. When something bad has happened in our lives, or something didn’t happen the way we expected, it’s easy to ask, “How could God let this happen?"

But God is not your enemy. His intentions and actions toward you are always good. First John 1:5 says that “God is light and in Him is no darkness at all,” and James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”

God is only good, and his mercy endures forever (Ps. 118). He doesn’t change back and forth from good to bad. You can trust him (Prov. 3:5–¬6) because he always has your best interest at heart. So don’t hold any anger toward him. Just tell him how you feel and let it go.

The devil wants you to believe that the bad stuff is God’s fault or that he allowed it; God doesn’t care or he’s mad at you or he’s just not paying attention. The devil knows that if you’re mad at God, he’s got you separated from your help!

When my first husband died at 37 years of age, his sudden death left me parent to two teenaged sons and pastor to our church. At the time, people said to me, “you’re so brave to keep holding onto God after what happened.” I guess they meant that they might be mad at God over such a thing.

But my thought was, “This is no time to let go of God!” I knew I needed his help to get over my husband’s death, pastor a church, and raise two boys. Why turn my back on the One who could help me!

Besides, I knew that God didn’t “take” my husband. My Heavenly Father is a loving Father, who wants only the best for his children. All evil comes from the devil.

There’s an easy way to tell if something came from God or the devil. In John 10:10, Jesus says, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

That’s pretty black and white, isn’t it? If there is stealing, killing, or destroying happening, it’s the devil’s doing, not God’s.
