Don’t give the enemy a place or opportunity. Resist him… not in your strength, but in the Name of Jesus! God has already given us the victory; now it’s about whether or not we’re going to live in that victory. Victory can look different than we think- as though it’s always on the mountain top. Sometimes victory is in the valley, experiencing God’s presence. He will strengthen you and affirm you- He’s going to walk with you through the valley, and you don’t have to fear anything. —Pastor Rob Ray

We must be skillful in the Word of God and yielded to the Spirit of God. In order to fight the enemy, Satan, we must fight him with the Holy Spirit’s power. Jesus Himself was driven by the Holy Spirit- by the Word of God and through the Spirit, Jesus fought temptation of the enemy. In the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus then began His ministry. In the synagogue, He read these words of the prophet Isaiah. During Jesus’s time on earth, He submitted to the will of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

God is a forgiving God! This forgiveness is a primary blessing. Without that forgiveness, you cannot be a child of God. Doesn’t matter how many times you’ve been baptized or how many classes you’ve taken – that doesn’t make someone a believer. What makes you a believer is that you’ve come to the realization that your sin has alienated you from God, and your only hope is in Jesus Christ and His blood that was shed for you for the forgiveness of your sin.

Our faithful Father is worthy of all praise! He forgives, heals, redeems, crowns, satisfies, and renews! THIS is our salvation- accomplished by the power of God through the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus. Give glory to God today for His grace and every benefit that comes from being a part of His Family! May our faith be strengthened as we bless the Lord and exalt His Holy Name.

In the Christian faith, we all start as “infants.” We all start the same way, being birthed into the kingdom of God. We were dead in our sin, and God makes us alive. We lived in darkness, and God causes us to walk in light- it’s a work of God in us. And to be a child of God, to be born again into His Kingdom, we must be forgiven of our sins. We were once under condemnation, but God who is rich in mercy and love has saved us by His grace and forgiven us. He has removed and taken away our sin. —Pastor Rob Ray

God is concerned when we do not grow into the image of His dear Son Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that Christlikeness is the goal for all of us. God expects us to grow. It is the expectation- that we be conformed not to the image of the world but to that of Christ. God is always at work in us to mold us and make us into His image, to get rid of the old things and put on the new.
