Trinity Family,
As you know, we have been watching the developments relative to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely. There are many questions relating to the virus and other areas of impact, and it is our responsibility as leaders within the church to respond and not just to react to the ever-unfolding developments. Every nation is, or will soon be impacted, and it is our responsibility to be light in the darkness, facing challenges on every front in a fashion that honors God and His Church as much as possible.
In the midst of this, there are decisions and choices that must be made, and there are also mandates and recommendations coming from state and federal government, as well as our National AG leadership. Please take note of the directive that was released Thursday morning from the New Mexico Department of Health.
· In accordance with the directives coming from our State Government, events like the Fusion/Fine Arts Conference (March 19-21) are prohibited until further notice, so Fusion/Fine Arts Conference is cancelled.
· Since the Fine Arts Competition is postponed, we will also cancel the Fine Arts Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser along with the Annual State of the Church Address that was scheduled for Sunday, March 15th at 6:00 pm. Please continue to check the Trinity page for details on rescheduling these meetings.
· Currently Trinity Church plans to proceed with the regularly scheduled Sunday Celebration Services. Please keep in mind; if you are uncomfortable or feel you may jeopardize your health by attending, a live stream is available for both services. Pastoral Staff will continue to monitor the evolving situation and make changes as deemed necessary.
In January 2020, as a church, we embarked on a journey to "see" God more clearly and specifically asked Him to "open the eyes of our hearts and give us revelation knowledge." As we navigate the tedious waters of the hysteria, it is more vital than ever to maintain proper vision and focus. I encourage you to stand in agreement in prayer and not give way to a spirit of fear or delusion. For as Paul wrote to Timothy, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7
Most Sincerely,
Pastor Kelly Fulfer
