We are overcomers through Jesus! God always leads us to be victorious. He has set us up to win in life. Praise God!
Although that is true, this verse states we are to put our hands to victory. We must put some action to our faith when are believing for victory in our lives. Victory isn’t going to just fall into our laps. God hasn’t given us victory to be lazy. He wants us to be like Him. God worked. Genesis 2:3 says God rested from His work. Adam worked in the garden. Genesis 2:15 says God told him to tend the garden. At this time Adam was perfect and lived in a perfect garden and yet he was told to work. God expects us to work by applying action to our faith.
What kind of action should you take? Listen to God, He will show you the action to take. It may be speaking the Word over your situation, it may be giving an offering, or it may be just getting out of bed. Whatever He shows you be obedient to do it. That’s when your victory happens!
Say this-“I believe You have given me the victory. I also know in order for my faith to work it must be accompanied with action. Show me, God, what action to take that would please you. Help me to be obedient with that action. Thank you, God, for my victory!”
