Go worship the perfect God💕

If you’re waiting for a perfect church, you’ll never belong anywhere.

The church was never meant to be a museum for the flawless, it’s a hospital for the broken. You don’t gather with perfect people; you gather with forgiven people. People still growing. Still repenting. Still learning to love like Christ.

We don’t go to church because everyone there has it together. We go because none of us do.

Be careful that your search for “perfect” isn’t just pride in disguise. Sometimes the very flaws you criticize are the same weaknesses God is patiently working out in you.
The standard isn’t a flawless congregation.. it’s a faithful Savior.

Stop church shopping for perfection. Start showing up with humility. Worship wholeheartedly. Serve faithfully. Forgive quickly. Extend the grace you so desperately need.

The church doesn’t need spectators looking for flaws. It needs worshipers looking to Jesus Christ. 🤍🙏🏻

Always a blessing🩷

Our Christmas Candlelight and Communion Service will be on Wednesday, December 17, at 6:00 pm at 314 S RR AG in Floyd. (Go out the Floyd Highway, and after you pass the school, take the first left at the cemetery and you will see the church a little further down on the right.)

This is always such a special evening each year, as we celebrate the coming of our Savior Jesus to earth, fulfilling the long-ago prophecy that Messiah would come. God always keeps His promises; and even the angels celebrated the night He was born and laid in a manger.

Would you like to join us? We will sing, read scripture, and have the opportunity to share in The Lord's Supper together. Afterward we will have snacks AND a birthday cake for Jesus in the Fellowship Hall.

May all believe and receive the message of joy and salvation through God's Son, offering our heart to Jesus as His dwelling place, and not turn Him away. Merry Christmas from us to you!
