On this Sunday, May 10, 2026! - "The Sixth Sunday of Easter" -
These verses from John Gospel, the 14th chapter, provide some of the most comforting and reassuring words we would ever hear - or experience.
In the context of Jesus "preparing" the disciples for what is about to intrude into their lives, Jesus tells them (promises them) 2 vital lessons upon which they can depend - in all circumstances. One, that God's people will never be abandoned!
And the other? That God will send the Holy Spirit to enable us to not only trust in God's promises - but even more to "demonstrate" God's promises by the love that we extend to each other. They'll know we are Christians (and will see the real difference that God brings into the world) - NOT by our preaching, the vehicle we drive, the brand of shoes we wear or the house in which we may live - but by our love for and with each other. A wonderful and yet extremely challenging proposition. We look forward to exploring these inspirational words of hope and encouragement with you on Sunday morning.
Come and hang out with us on this Sunday - in person or with video or by "radio." We would love to share worship and fellowship with you. All are invited - all are welcome!
