It's going to be a great day tomorrow -

And you know what will make it even better?

Brats and Hot Dogs served by the Portage Presbyterian Church at the "Brat Hut" at Festival Foods in Portage -

Brats and Hot Dogs and Soda Pop - Oh My!

We are serving from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

So, you can even have them for lunch - and then again for supper!

What could be better than that? Especially if it is your day to cook, right?

Hope to see you there!

On this Sunday, May 31, 2026! - "Trinity Sunday" - on this Sunday we find Jesus and followers "after Resurrection" - as he meets them in Galilee - "just as he had said He would."

In Matthew's Gospel, this is the first time that "all" of the followers had "seen" Jesus - and so, as we might expect (and as we read in the other Gospels) - a "resurrected Jesus" takes some getting used to. Interestingly, the followers both "doubt and worship." But Jesus is not there merely to "reconnect" - but also to "redirect" - to prepare his followers to "go out into the world" - to take on a task that seems way too big for them - but also with a promise that is even bigger (and one in which they can trust) - "I will be with you always to the close of the age" - in other words - "forever." We will "listen again" to Jesus words to those who follow - and those who are "sent to go" - then and now!

Come and hang out with us on this Sunday - in person or with video or by "radio." We would love to share worship and fellowship with you. All are invited - all are welcome!

On this Sunday, May 10, 2026! - "The Sixth Sunday of Easter" -
These verses from John Gospel, the 14th chapter, provide some of the most comforting and reassuring words we would ever hear - or experience.

In the context of Jesus "preparing" the disciples for what is about to intrude into their lives, Jesus tells them (promises them) 2 vital lessons upon which they can depend - in all circumstances. One, that God's people will never be abandoned!

And the other? That God will send the Holy Spirit to enable us to not only trust in God's promises - but even more to "demonstrate" God's promises by the love that we extend to each other. They'll know we are Christians (and will see the real difference that God brings into the world) - NOT by our preaching, the vehicle we drive, the brand of shoes we wear or the house in which we may live - but by our love for and with each other. A wonderful and yet extremely challenging proposition. We look forward to exploring these inspirational words of hope and encouragement with you on Sunday morning.

Come and hang out with us on this Sunday - in person or with video or by "radio." We would love to share worship and fellowship with you. All are invited - all are welcome!
