Youth is selling shirts. Orders due Sunday, June 28. $15 each 2 designs: 1. Baseball related 2. Luther seal. Kids and moms tie dyed shirts and are getting the baseball design on them. These shirts are going to be worn at Altoona Curve game on Aug. 16. There will be a sign up sheet on the back door of church. The designs will also be posted.

In June, members graduating from high school or college will be recognized in our bulletin. If any member or someone in your family is graduating from either, please message with this information. Also if you could give a little information about future plans or studies, that would be helpful.
You can also call the church phone and leave a message (814) 736-3662.
OR leave the information in the secretary mailbox at church, or in the offering plate.

I was invited to meet with the Council at First Lutheran Church Portage (Johnstown Conference) tonight. It was great to hear about growing ministry with young people. This coming Sunday an ELCA rostered daughter of the congregation will preside, as five young people celebrate their first Communion. Alleluia!

For Sunday May 10 if your child is scheduled to serve please try and be there. The children that are receiving their 1st communion will not be able to help serve that day. Reminder after the service we will be having social hour to celebrate.
Also, the next youth event scheduled for May 17 has been changed to May 31. Time is still 2 to 4 bring your favorite board game to play. Snacks will be provided. The youth will also be tie-dying shirts for the Altoona curve game in August. If your child is interested in tie dying a shirt and you have not provided a size please message and let me know.
Lastly, I would like to thank every member of the congregation for the support of the youth.

We are updating our records. We are wanting to update our phone records and email records. We will be creating a group message in order to group text, in regards to, possible service changes or prayer chain messages.

Also we do email important information, such as the newsletter, etc.

If you have not signed the form that was passed around during church service, would you please send us a message (in messenger) with your contact information (again ... phone and email).

IF you have moved in the past few years (or longer lol), would you mind also including that information?

This was passed along to us from one of our members. Food for thought. We are grateful for each and every member of our congregation.

"Faithful Church Membership Requires" ...

That I attend its services regularly, contribute to its support and that I make daily supplication for it in my prayers.

That I give the best I have to it, not of gifts and service only, but also of love and personal helpfulness.

That I avail myself of the Holy Communion regularly as an evidence of my faith and its ministry of grace in my Christian life.
