Dear Parents,

We had such a wonderful time in Sunday School today, and we wanted to share a little about what your child experienced and learned!

Our lesson focused on 1 Corinthians 12:12–27, where the Apostle Paul teaches that each of us is a unique and important part of the Body of Christ. Just as our bodies need every part to function—hands, feet, eyes, and ears—the Church needs every person with their unique gifts and roles to thrive.

To bring this lesson to life, we used a fun soccer-themed activity called “Body of Christ Soccer.” Each child learnt how valuable they were to the team of soccer and how valuable they are in the work of God.

We also spent time in discussion and reflection, asking questions like:
• What part of the Body of Christ do you think you are?
• What gifts has God given you to serve others?

We encouraged them to look for one way this week to use their gift to serve someone in their church, family or community.

Our memory verse was:
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” – 1 Corinthians 12:27

We’re so proud of how the children engaged with today’s lesson, and we pray it encourages them to grow in both faith and service. Thank you for the privilege of teaching your child!
