Religious School is just beginning—and there is still time to join us!

PJC offers a warm, personal K–7 Religious School experience with very small classes, individualized attention and a community where families truly get to know one another.

We meet Mondays from 4:15–6:15 PM in Port Washington. Kindergarten and first-grade tuition is free, and we will always work with families for whom cost is a concern.

Not sure yet? Come try Religious School. It’s an easy way for your child to experience PJC, meet the teachers and other students, and see whether our community feels right for your family.

Religious School isn’t only about what happens in the classroom.

We want children—and their parents—to feel that they are part of a
Jewish community where people know one another, celebrate together and show up for one another.

PJC is a small, haimish congregation, and our Religious School
reflects that same sense of community.

If you’re curious, come try us out. New families are welcome to visit
Religious School during any of the first three school days before
deciding whether PJC is the right fit.

Every child learns differently.

That’s one of the advantages of being a small Religious School. We can pay attention to the child in front of us—where they are, what they need, and how we can help them grow.

At PJC, no child is just a number.

Curious about whether PJC might be the right fit for your family?
Families are welcome to try Religious School during the first three
school days of the year and experience it for themselves.

Jewish education is about more than learning facts. It’s about helping children develop a connection to Judaism that feels meaningful and belongs to them.

At PJC, students learn, celebrate, ask questions, build friendships
and become part of a Jewish community where people really know them.

If you’re looking for a warm, personal Jewish community for your
family, come learn more about us.

Sometimes small is exactly what children need.

At Port Jewish Center, our Religious School classes are small enough for teachers to really know their students—their strengths, their questions, and what helps them learn.

We believe Jewish education should feel personal, joyful and connected.

Religious School meets Mondays from 4:15–6:15 PM for grades K–7. Kindergarten and first-grade tuition is free.

Looking for a Jewish community where your family will be known, welcomed and valued?

At Port Jewish Center, our K–7 Religious School meets once a week in a warm, personal environment where children build friendships, explore Jewish traditions and develop a Jewish identity that feels meaningful to them.

Every family’s connection to Jewish life looks different—and that’s okay. Whether you’re new to the area, new to synagogue life or simply looking for a smaller community where your family can feel at home, we’d love to meet you.
