Outreach for Hope is one of the ways we support our neighbors as the Body of Christ. OfH supports Greater Milwaukee Synod, ELCA congregations and ministries serving low-income urban areas through grants, supply drives, and partnerships with suburban churches. The largest source of funding for OfH is the annual Ride Run Walk, coming up in September. This year's goal is to raise $175,000, and every donation helps.

Even if you aren't available to participate on September 26, can you make a donation to support this important work? This year, a generous donor is contributing $100 for each new donor to OfH, up to $10,000—so if you've never made a contribution, now is the time! Looking for a peaceful way to connect with God and others? Join us Wednesday morning at Christ the King Lutheran Church as we gather for prayer in a welcoming and comfortable space.

Together, we’ll spend time praying for one another, our community, and the world, while also sharing moments of gratitude and song. Whether you have a prayer request on your heart or simply wish to spend some quiet time in fellowship, you are welcome here.

A new season of making Stone Soup begins this Saturday, September 5th, and chicken noodle is on the menu! We need carrots, celery, onion, and most importantly, your help. We'll meet at 9:00 am at Christ the King on Saturday. Soup is distributed through our local food pantries for neighbors who could use a delicious meal.

Thank you to everyone who attended or helped with the ecumenical "Do Something" service on Sunday (including our own ATHIRST praise band) at Grand Avenue UMC! What a joy to be together in worship and celebrate some of the ways we've served our neighbors near and far this summer in Jesus' name!

Christ the King is also a drop off location for school supplies for Ozaukee Food Alliance. Help fill our barrel and support our neighbors!

We lift up in prayer all affected by the tornado and storms in our state. If you want to support recovery efforts, the East Central Synod of Wisconsin - ELCA has set up a disaster relief fund linked below. We also lift up especially St. Timothy Lutheran - Menasha which suffered damage to its roof and steeple.
