St. Ignatius Church ~ Chapel Point Dating from 1662 the oldest continuously active parish in the United States. Founded 1641 by Father Andrew White, S.J., who named Chapel Point.

Please join us tomorrow, Saturday May 16th for our 42nd annual Rosary Pilgrimage.

Mass begins at 11 AM, followed by a procession to Our Lady's Shrine where our first holy communicants will crown our Blessed Mother, and the Knights of Columbus will lead us in a rosary.

Remain with us and tour our grounds, which are featured on the Charles County Garden Club's Home & Garden Tour.

Our gift shop will be open, too.

The parish hall roof collapsed yesterday (April 9) during work to replace the decking and shingles. Thankfully no one was injured. All events scheduled in the parish hall are postponed until further notice. Sarah MacMillan will inform Religious Education participants of alternative arrangements within a few days.
