What a fun time at the Michigan Lavender Festival!
Great vendors, spending the day with my daughter 😊 beautiful lavender trees, a cool butterfly feeding tent, artwork from one of my favorite Michigan artists, and
a Lady Catherine De Bourgh sticker
that promptly went on my water bottle! 😄 "I'm quite put out!" If ykyk
I won't miss this festival next year!

There's nothing like a good soaking rain ☔
You can set up your sprinklers, stand with a hose and water for hours but nothing saturates those flowers & veggies like a good rain!
I watered this morning unsure whether rain would come or not, but everything looks so much better & BIGGER 🤯

3,000 seedlings have already been planted out, but the seed starting continues!
It took me my first two years to realize I needed to keep on startin' those seeds after all those babies went in!
So
We continue starting sunnies & zinnias until the first week of July to ensure blooms for you all season 🌻

The Zinnias & Sunnies have a new home this year thanks to my ingenious hubby! 🌻

He built this handy contraption to make it easy to burn the holes in the w**d fabric & now it's ready for the babies to go in! 🌱
And bonus= no w**ding for me in this area! 🎉 🥳

I love my jar fairies! 🧚🏻‍♀️
Every so often jars & vases magically appear in the flower stand for me to use 🥰
Thank you to everyone who leaves mason jars & small mouthed jars & bottles in Maybelle for me! They are a blessing!
I've had so many of you ask what kinds of jars or vases I prefer-
I especially love pint sized mason jars, skinny, tall olive jars, and Starbucks frappucino jars ☺️

Almost All the babies went in this past weekend! 🥳
I'll be continuing to succession sow until July but the bulk of everything is finally in! 😅

The black fabric area has finally been designated for sunnies & zinnias 🌻 they will go in this week & will continue to be planted out til the first week of July.
Covering those that are most delectable to 🐇🙃
