Give it to Christ.
Bring Him the worry, the fear, the uncertainty, and the things you cannot control.

Take a breath. Pray. Trust.
He sees you. He knows what you’re carrying. And He is with you.

“Theology without practice is a theology of demons.” — St. Maximos the Confessor

It’s possible to know a lot about God while not actually allowing that knowledge to transform the way we live.

We can know Scripture, discuss doctrine, defend the faith, quote the Fathers, and still struggle to love our neighbor, forgive those who hurt us, control our tongue, resist temptation, humble ourselves, or surrender our will to God.

The Christian life is not simply about knowing the truth.

It is about living the truth.

If I say I believe Christ is Lord, then that belief should touch my marriage, my friendships, my work, my thoughts, my words, my reactions, my temptations, my forgiveness, and the way I treat people who disagree with me.

This isn’t about becoming perfect overnight.

It’s about repentance.

It’s about taking what we know and, by God’s grace, putting it into practice.

Lord, don’t let me become someone who can speak beautifully about You while living far from You.

Give me the grace not only to know Your truth, but to live it.

“Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Most Holy Theotokos, pray for us and lead us ever closer to your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Teach us, as you did, to say “Let it be to me according to your word.”

When we are anxious, help us to trust Him.
When we are weak, help us to seek Him.
When we are lost, lead us to Him.
When we are proud, teach us humility.

Pray for us, Holy Mother of God, that our hearts may become a dwelling place for Christ, and that in all things we may seek His will and give glory to Him.

For to Him belongs all glory, honor, and worship, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Show them Christ in you!
One of the things I’m learning and something I struggled with. The need to be right, to prove my point.
St. Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 13:1.
“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.”
Let our words be saturated with love and truth. That our approach should point to Christ. It is easy to fall into pride where we feel “because I’m Orthodox, I am right and you are wrong and heretical.” That approach can completely shatter the opportunity to share Christ. It becomes ego driven. Then conversation become difficult because it goes into a heated debate where love is forgotten.
When we share our faith, let our actions and speech point to Christ through love, truth and humility.
May God bless you all. May you acquire the spirit of truth, humility and love and most importantly may you continue to seek Christ wholeheartedly.
Lord Jesus, Son of God, have mercy on us sinnners.

🌅 Morning Prayer

Good morning, brothers and sisters.

Before we step into everything this day may bring, let us first place it into the hands of Christ.

We do not know what today will hold—joy or difficulty, success or disappointment, peace or struggle. But we know Who holds us.

“This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

☦️ Lord Jesus Christ, bless this day.
Guard our thoughts, words, and actions.
Keep us from pride, anger, fear, and temptation.
Give us strength when things are difficult,
humility when things go well,
and gratitude in all things.

Bless our families, our friends, and everyone we encounter today.

May our lives reflect Your love,
and may everything we do bring glory to You.

Not our will, but Yours be done.
