This is how we know love.

Not by words…
not by feelings…
but by sacrifice.

“He laid down His life for us…”

Christ did not just teach love—
He became love on the Cross.

And now, we are called to do the same.

To lay down:
• our pride
• our anger
• our comfort

For the sake of others.

As St. Isaac the Syrian teaches:

“Love is the kingdom which the Lord mystically promised.”

So let us not love in word only…
but in how we live, how we forgive, and how we give ourselves.

Lord Jesus Christ, teach us to love as You love. ☦️

“For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”
- 1 Peter 3:12

God sees you.
God hears you.
Live right.
Stay faithful.
Keep praying.

Nothing before God goes unnoticed. ☦️

I remember one Sunday morning during Catechism, my priest, Father Maximus was teaching on the sacraments of the church. Sacraments also referred to as Holy Mysteries, bring glory to God. 7 key sacraments/Holy Mysteries observed by the church are:
1- Partaking the Eucharist ( Holy Communion)
2- Baptism
3- Chrismation
4- Confession
5- Marriage
6- Holy Orders
7- Holy Unction
As Father Max was making his conclusion of the lesson, he said that those were not the only sacraments held by the church and said that everything we do can be a scarament. He referenced what St. Paul wrote in 1st Corinthians 10:31 “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do ALL to the glory of God.”

I encourage you all my brothers and sisters in the faith to live a life that gives all glory to God. Not our will be done but His Will.

I love you all, may God bless you abundantly throughout the day. As always, live Christ!

A year and a half ago, I stepped into the Orthodox Church.

I wasn’t running from something.
I was searching for depth, consistency, and roots.

I’ve learned that salvation is not a moment — it’s a daily choosing, a daily cross, a daily abiding in Christ.

Glory to God for all things. ☦️

The Christian life is not built on emotion.
It is built on endurance.

“He who endures to the end shall be saved.” — Matthew 24:13

Discipline trains the soul to remain in Christ.

Glory to You, our God, glory to You!

O Heavenly King, Comforter, the Spirit of truth, everywhere present and filling all things, Treasury of blessings and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us.

Glory to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

The mind is rarely quiet.

Temptations whisper.
Accusations echo.
Shame tries to linger.

But the Church gives us a weapon — the Jesus Prayer:

“Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.”

Not magic.
Not emotion.
But humble, steady repentance.

Light overcomes darkness — not by force, but by the presence of Christ.

Before the flowers and chocolates…
There was a martyr.

St. Valentine reminds us that real love is rooted in Christ — courageous, sacrificial, and holy.

Holy Martyr Valentine, pray for us.
