My brother Ken has his open heart surgery to remove the malignant tumor in his heart at 6:30 AM in the morning and I thank you for all the prayers not only here but all over the place. The last picture I saw of him with his grand children was one of peace [on the outside anyway and probably on the inside].
I understand Bev Helgesen's unspoken prayer request now AND I am asking you to pray for her peace of mind and for her special need.
Bill Bledsoe [Richard's brother] is having knee replacement surgery and we are asking for your prayers for successful surgery.
Mona gives praise for another successful MRI on grandson Caden King and how he is cancer free and now they can start working on his special needs that have arisen because of his long fight with cancer BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT HE IS CANCER FREE
I am thankful that folk are already bringing supplies in for the Elementary School across the street to meet the needs of young people who do not have proper school supplies. You have done wonderful in the past and I know that you will do the same this year for that need.
It was good to have Don Whitson back in services this morning and we are praying that BO**IE will be with him soon. Our prayers continue for Bo**ie AND FOR DON.
ARLENE MAYLE, we are thankful that your MRI went well? We look forward to seeing you soon off and on since your retirement is imminent AND WE really look forward to when your husband retires this winter.

I enjoyed our new series in Sunday school this morning "Meet the Master" ... and what a special service today with the Praise Team of Tom, Keith, Jeff and Jack excelling in every way and you sing really well. Thank you Richard Bledsoe for a special communion meditation and we wish you well as you take on that ministry in Okeechobee - we will look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evenings. Nice attendance too right here in the summer time for the second week. Linda and most of the Wilson family are heading for North Carolina this next week but at the same time we are expecting others of our church family back here to PSL this week. Miss Bill and Agnes Davis [who are not doing well] in our services because they were such a vital part of PSLCC for so many years.

Pray for her safety as she leaves Thursday to go across the state to see here sister and I know that she and Lynn Anderson will have a great time - already hear the giggling. Sue goes to her oncologist tomorrow and we are hoping for a good report.
Maggie and Katy are waiting for their Sunday afternoon walk so I will get to family news and then head out with them for a lengthy walk
