Hi Folks,
I want to express my heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love, prayers, and kindness shown to me during my recent birthday and retirement celebration. Your thoughtful words, gifts, and presence truly touched my heart and made this special occasion one we will cherish forever. As I reflect on the years God has allowed us to serve among you, I am filled with deep gratitude. It has been one of the greatest blessings of my life to shepherd this congregation, to share in your joys and sorrows, and to witness the mighty hand of God at work in our midst. Your faith, support, and love have strengthened and encouraged me more than you will ever know. Though I am stepping away from active pastoral duties, my love and prayers for each of you remain steadfast. I look forward to seeing how the Lord continues to bless and use Walton Road Baptist Church for His glory in the days ahead.Thank you again for your generosity, your encouragement, and the beautiful way you honored us. Praying for an abundantly fruitful season ahead under the capable leadership of Pastor Jerry Smith along with his faithful wife Cissy. The best indeed is yet to come.
