We all face different kinds of fear in life. As Christians, we can know that God is with us. He is greater than anything we might have to face. We can trust God with those fears, and we can respond with faith, knowing that God will help us. In our Bible story, Jacob faces the fear of losing another son and having to move to a faraway land. Everyone feels alone at different times in their life. As Christians, when we feel lonely, it’s important we know that God is with us. We can, and should, talk to Him about all our feelings. In our Bible story, Joseph may have felt more alone in prison than we can possibly imagine, but God sustained him through that season. God even used Joseph in this lonely time to help those around him. 📖 Joseph in Prison

The Bible tells us that we’re sinful people. We’ve all messed up and given in to the temptation to make bad choices. The Bible also tells us that this isn’t how God wants us to live. God can give us the strength to make good choices even when it’s difficult to do so. In our Bible story, life was actually going pretty well for Joseph when he was tempted to make a bad choice.
