Oak Grove Church

Oak Grove Church Loving God, loving people, serving our world There are many ways for you to connect and participate in what the Holy Spirit is doing on the earth.

Oak Grove was established in the late 1940's by a group of believers, hungry for a deeper move of God's Spirit and anointing in their lives. Over the years, the desire to follow the Word of God in faith and practice has increased as we operate as a Bible-based congregation that recognizes the five-fold ministry. Oak Grove Church seeks to maintain the priority of gathering together to worship the L

ord Jesus as a community of faith. We are governed by a fellowship of elders who seek prayerfully to hear from the Lord and to only do that which the Lord leads. We recognize an important priority for us is that every member has an important role to play and so we attempt to create an atmosphere where everyone can grow in the giftings and the callings that God has placed in them. If you don’t have a place of worship that you call home, we invite you to visit and get to know us at Oak Grove Church. The ministries we have include: prison ministry, women’s ministry, prayer tent ministry, Still Giving Ministries ( Giving and in Instagram too) and ministerio español. Para el ministerio español, comuníquese con Eli Duarte al 850-227-5152 o consulte la página de Facebook Familia De Fe (). Oak Grove Church may not be the place that God’s calling you to but we encourage you to check out the possibilities and ask questions. We realize we are living in changing times and our desire is to seek the Heavenly Father’s will and to walk in obedience to His leading day-by-day. If we can be of help to you in any way, please don’t hesitate to call us at 850-227-1837.

Such a powerful message this week at Oak Grove Church from Jonathan Barnes on the Five-Fold Ministry and how every gift is needed in the body of Christ.

Apostles build.Prophets speak what God is revealing.Evangelists reach the lost.Pastors care for and protect people.Teachers bring understanding and help believers grow.

The message reminded us that these are not just titles — they are spiritual gifts given by God to strengthen the church and bring unity to the body of Christ. Every believer carries unique giftings and has a purpose in God’s kingdom.

One of the most impactful parts of the message was understanding that no one person carries everything alone. God designed the church to work together, honoring and supporting one another’s gifts so the Kingdom can grow.

When all five gifts work together, the church reflects heaven on earth.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27 ❤️

Here’s a Sunday recap post for Oak Grove Church:

Today at Oak Grove Church, we celebrated Mother’s Day with a powerful message on Motherhood and Faith. 💐

We were reminded just how important mothers are in shaping families, building faith, and leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come. Through personal testimonies and scripture, we reflected on the strength, tenderness, wisdom, and love that God has placed inside mothers and grandmothers.

📖 “Her children arise up, and call her blessed…” — Proverbs 31:28

The message emphasized that motherhood is not just a responsibility — it is a divine calling. Mothers were encouraged to trust God’s promises, continue planting seeds of faith in their children, and lean on His strength during difficult seasons.

We also reflected on God’s beautiful design for family, the importance of speaking with love and kindness, and the lasting impact a mother’s prayers and guidance can have on future generations.

No matter how overwhelming life may feel, God’s grace is sufficient, and your labor is never in vain. 💛

Thank you to every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, and woman who pours love into others. You are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

Happy Mother’s Day from Oak Grove Church! 🌷

We hope to see you all at 3:30 today at the Centennial Building for the National Day of Prayer.

Sunday Message Recap | Oak Grove Church

This Sunday, we were reminded of something powerful… God is a covenant-keeping God.

Covenant isn’t just a word—it’s a commitment rooted in unending love, amazing grace, and faith that stands no matter the circumstances. It’s a love that doesn’t change based on our past, our struggles, or where we’ve been.

We were challenged to go deeper:
➡️ Move beyond a “sin-conscious” mindset
➡️ Step into the truth of who we are in Christ
➡️ Live with a clear conscience and bold faith

📖 “What is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…” (Ephesians 1:19)

No matter what you’re facing today—trials, doubts, or struggles—the message was clear:

It’s not about the battle… it’s about the faith that carries you through it.

God is calling us:
👉 “Come closer.”
👉 “Ask for wisdom.”
👉 “Walk in covenant.”

We also took time to reflect during communion—remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and what it truly means to live in relationship with Him, not just in words, but in daily experience.

✨ Key Takeaways:

* You are more than a conqueror through Christ
* God has already provided everything you need for life and godliness
* Faith grows through the Word and through relationship with Him
* When we ask in faith, He gives freely—especially wisdom

Let’s keep seeking Him this week—asking, seeking, and knocking—believing that He is leading us deeper into His fullness.

We love our Oak Grove family 💙
See you next Sunday!
