Several members of our church attended a two-day, Gospel-centered global missions event that equips pastors, church members, and missions leaders to recover a biblical vision for missions. The 2026 conference recently took place on June 19–20 at Jefferson Park Baptist Church in Charlottesville. In attendance from PRRC were Shannon Bower, Pastor Jace Bower, Randy Wood, Robert (Bob) Pettit, and Kelly Groves (not pictured).

Thank you to each of these members who learned much from this conference to bring back to all of us at PRRC.

Please join us today at PRRC for our 9:30 a.m. worship services.

And on this day we want to say 'Happy Father’s Day' to all the amazing dads, grandfathers, and father figures in our church family! Thank you for leading, loving, and guiding the next generation.

We also want to lift up those for whom this day is difficult or who are missing their fathers. May we all take a moment to look to our Heavenly Father, who is the ultimate source of comfort, protection, and love. We are so grateful for your presence in our church and the community!

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." ~ Ephesians 6:4

At the end of a busy week, it can be so easy to get caught up in the rush of daily life. Today, take a deep breath, step back, and rest in the peace of God's presence. Then join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. as we gather together to pause, reflect, and recharge!

"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10

Here is a warning to the unsaved. God is merciful. He proved this when He provided a Savior. He proves it when He invites us to come unto Him. He proves it by His long-suffering. But there is a limit to His mercy. Some day the door of hope will be closed. Death may come suddenly and after death the judgment. In that day He will deal in justice and not in mercy. If you have refused and rejected Christ, there will be no mercy for you. If you trample Him under foot, you seal your own doom.

The gospel call today is one of mercy. Christ pleads for you to accept Him and be saved. His favorite word is "Come". He says, "Come unto Me, ye thieves, ye harlots, ye blasphemers, ye murderers, ye good moral men. Come unto Me, all ye sinners and I will save you." Make your decision today. (from the book Seven Simple Sermons on the Saviour's Last Words by W. Herschel Ford)

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." ~ Acts 4:12

Over the past few months, our PRRC Bible Study has been blessed to meet at the lovely home of Sue and Norman Good, culminating in a wonderful end-of-study picnic. We are incredibly grateful to Sue and Norman for their gracious hospitality!

A massive thank you to Dianna Chandler for leading us through the Book of Revelation and parts of Exodus. Her time, energy, and inspiring leadership made this study a deeply eye-opening reminder of hope. It was so comforting to be reminded that, from Exodus to Revelation, God is always in control and His promises never fail. Thank you to all the amazing ladies who attended and added so much rich discussion to our group. We are so blessed by this community and can’t wait to get back together for our new study in the fall!

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." ~ Revelation 21:4

Last Sunday began a new tradition at PRRC of a new Lions of Judah Men's Ministry breakfast. The men were treated to a hearty breakfast, great fellowship, an encouraging devotional from Bob Pettit and a message from Pastor Jace.

Approximately 20 men attended this first breakfast so they hope to continue this tradition and more information will be sent out in the future!

Yesterday Pastor Jace's sermon was titled 'What Jesus Continues to Do and Teach'. Here is a synopsis of his very thought provoking message:

- The book of Acts records what Jesus continues to do as He rules from heaven and sends His Spirit-empowered Church on God's mission.
- Christ's Church has an enormous task: bringing the gospel to all nations, for which we need the Holy Spirit!
- We can live and serve boldly because Jesus is alive.

A beautiful Sunday from being greeted by Pastor Jace and his pretty wife Shannon, and Rod and Barb Gunden, to visiting our Prayer Room at the church, and then watching the kids eating a snack and talking together outside after the service was done.
