Zephaniah 3:17 is a deeply powerful, yet frequently overlooked, Bible verse that captures God's profound, personal love and delight in His people:

"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing."

Everyone enjoy your weekend! See you Sunday morning!

"There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community." ~ Proverbs 6:16-19

Children left to their own devices—without boundaries or parental authority—will struggle as they grow to become adults. Here are a few ways to help teach children to grow into responsible adults:

~ Parents and teachers should show kindness in their daily actions because children copy what they see.
~ Involve children in simple tasks, like cleaning their room, sharing toys or assisting a neighbor.
~ Point out how a choice hurts or helps someone else.
~ Teach Right from Wrong: Use everyday moments to explain moral choices and how actions impact relationships.
~ Teach the children that Jesus loves them completely, and because He loves them, He wants them to choose what is good and kind every day.

Colossians 3:20 says, "Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord"

Life can bring intense frustration, injustice, and pain. Turning to God doesn't mean hiding your anger; it means bringing it to Him instead of letting it consume you.

"In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." ~ Ephesians 4:26-27

Pastor Jace's Sunday message was titled 'Christ, Our Passover Lamb'. The main point was that we find freedom at the Lord's table:
~ We are free from sin's penalty. The Lord's Supper reminds us that Jesus' death bears the penalty for our sin and frees us from guilt, condemnation and the penalty we deserves.
~ The Lord's Supper reminds us of the enduring power of the gospel in our lives which transforms our hearts and destroys the dominion of sin in our lives.
~ The Lord's Supper anticipates the Marriage Supper of the Lamb where we will rejoice with Christ in a world completely free from the presence of sin and evil.

"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body." ~ Matthew 26:26

Good morning! As we step into a brand new work week, let’s remember that God's mercies are with us. No matter what is on the calendar or what challenges we are facing, His faithfulness is great. No matter how busy the week is, take time each day to pause, pray, and renew your strength in Him.

"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." ~ Isaiah 40:31
