First Community Church of Port Orford A Transforming Community of Jesus Followers At present we have a rotation of four individuals leading the worship music each week.

Our Mission Statement:

First Community Church will together
give glory to God, bring others to Jesus and show love to our community.
[while keeping the main thing the main thing]


Our worship "style" musically is blended. So there is a little of everything on any given week. Really no "dress code" per say ... but for the most part it is a very casual atmosphere. We have Children's Church ages 5

-12 [all in one class]. They start the service with the adults and are dismissed at Greeting Time. We have a rotation of adults serving as teachers and helpers in CC. All of our adults have a background check before being added to the rotation. Our pastor is a "Teaching Pastor" and goes through books of the Bible in their entirety. For those who are unable to attend our physical location, the sermon is live-streamed every Sunday from the church Face Book page, as well as being posted for replay on the church YouTube channel. The live-stream is SERMON ONLY. Due to privacy concerns and sound gaps [as people share] we do not record our prayer time. Good Morning All ... hoping to see everyone at worship on Sunday! For our on-line viewers, the message portion of the service begins at approximately 11:00 a.m.

- Coffee and Goodies available starting at 9:30 a.m.
- Worship starts at 10:30 a.m.
- Youth remain with their adults for the duration of the service.
- Nursery/Toddler care is available for children under the age of 5.

Tomorrow there will be an all-church workday at camp to get ready for the summer camps. The workday will start at 9am, and lunch will be provided at noon. The main focus of this workday is cleaning the kitchen and dining hall, chapel, and cabins; however, there will be other projects that will need to be done also. Hope you can make it!

➡️ YOUTH FIELD TRIP ... THIS Friday. Be at the church NO LATER than 3pm!
➡️ MEN'S BREAKFAST ... THIS Saturday @ 8am.
➡️ FIRCROFT WORKDAY ... THIS Saturday @ 9am. OR after the men's breakfast if you plan to have breakfast with the men.
➡️ BRING YOUR CANDY TO CHURCH DAY ... we are collecting candy all month to toss from the church float on July 4th. Donation bin is in the church entry.
