Prior to forming Thrive, Pete Keirstead served as the Lead Pastor of A Family Church in Daytona Beach from 2002 until itโs last service in December 2011. A Family Church was an outreach based ministry that had at
its core a passion for community service. This same passion for community impact is deep within the DNA of Thrive Community Church and expressed through its many outreach opportunities that our Small Groups provide. From the beginning, Thrive Community Church focused on reaching out to the non-churched community by building relationships through small groups. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of Thrive Community Church brought immediate growth. Now, eight years later, Thrive Church has over 600 in weekly attendance, over 40 small groups, and over 2,500 people have made a decision to follow Jesus. Thrive Church offers contemporary, Bible driven worship services that are alive with energy and creativity, as well as fun, safe, and exciting childrenโs and student ministries, and dynamic small groups. God is at work at Thrive Community Church.
