It's time to register for VBS!
Your kids are invited to the Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher, but He is much more than that.
At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.
Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the Light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12
The event is open to children who have finished Pre-K and are completing 6th grade. Older youth are invited, requested, and encouraged to help throughout the event.

It's easy to move forward when you can see the sea already parted. But I serve a God who parts the sea as you move forward in obedience to Him. Don't wait until you see your way clear before you move ahead. Instead, if He said move forward, go and watch Him clear the path ahead AS you go. (Ex. 14:15-16)

Tomorrow at 6pm is the quarterly Melody-n-Praise at FBC POC. This is a time for believers of all ages to share their talents in the worship of Jesus. This is an open mic event: A time to worship Jesus with songs of praise (all Christian genres)—a time to testify of His saving work in your life, however you are led, it is a time to worship the King of kings. I hope that you'll join us!

Men of POC, come join us for the Forge Gathering tomorrow (Tuesday 5/26) at 6pm. Ribeyes and sides are on the menu along with great fellowship. Glen Bates, former competition fisherman and founder of Kingdom Baits will be sharing his testimony with us after dinner. This event is open to men of all ages. There is no cost to attend.
