DYC 2026 has ended its first full day!
•
We heard an awesome talk from Father Agustino CFR
•
We got a chance to watch an awesome talent show this year with some incredible acts!
•
Then we ended the night with a dance & games!!
•
We gather one last time before going to bed, and the teens all expressed that they were having a great time. They’ve made new friends from around the diocese, they’ve had fun but most importantly they’ve learned about Christ and His church!

Please continue to pray for them as we continue into tomorrow!!

DYC 2026 is off to a strong start!!
•
Two of our teens, Abby & Corynn along with second other kids for St Charles & IC/St Peter, led the entire Diocese in a rosary to start off the day.
•
We had Mass with Bishop Toups, and newly ordained Deacon Max gave a wonderful homily!
•
Our graduate, Luke, and incoming Senior, AJ, displayed our banner for DYC.
HUGE thank you to Alex Shores for her amazing work on the banner!
•
Attended our first talk for the weekend in various locations!
•
And we just had lunch with Father Jim!!!
•
We still have a loaded day so stay tuned!

Congratulations on your Ordination Father Paul Landi!

I was truly something special for some of our teens to witness this special occasion and pray for you as you enter into your new ministry.
•
We thank God for the chance to get to know you this past summer! You were such an inspiration to them and as Bishop said today in his homily in reference to Pope Francis, you truly are a shepherd that “smells like the sheep.” We will continue to pray for you and we look forward to many ways you will continue to lead others closer to Christ!
