Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church

Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church Holy Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church exists to share the truth and love of God's saving Word. OUR MINISTRY
Worship: 10 a.m.

Holy Redeemer is part of a group of nearly 1,300 churches called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or WELS. The WELS is a world-wide church with congregations serving all fifty of the United States, as well as in Mexico and Canada. The WELS also serves over 26 foreign countries through world mission work. If you are new to the area or looking for a church home, accept our invitation to meet

our pastor (after the service, or by appointment at your convenience). OUR PURPOSE
The continuing purpose of this congregation, as a gathering of Christians, is to serve all people in God’s world with the gospel of Jesus Christ on the basis of the Holy Scriptures. To carry out this purpose we believe and teach:
That the Bible is the inspired Word of God, the only foundation for faith and life. That the Triune God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is the true and living God. That we have sinned against God’s holy will and deserve his eternal punishment. That Jesus lived, died and rose again for sinners, as their perfect substitute. That through faith in Jesus, the benefits of his work are received personally. That on the last day Jesus will return and give eternal life to all believers. That as we await that day, we are privileged to serve him as his redeemed people. each Sunday
Sunday School and Bible Class: 9 a.m. each Sunday beginning September 13, 2015
Bible Information Classes are available by speaking with the pastor. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the second and the last Sunday of the month.

They never forgot their past. Moses never forgot how he
killed a man in a fit of anger. Paul never forgot how he
had savaged the Church of God. Matthew never forgot
how, as a tax collector for the Roman Empire, he was
considered a traitor to his people.

But God forgot their past. He forgave all their sins and
called them to proclaim his mercy. Christians are sinners
whom God has mercifully called. Only mercy can explain
why Jesus brings people to faith and promises them
salvation. Only grace can explain how he calls them to
serve as they are able, even in the ministry of the gospel.
God loves sinners.
